Ballyclare Cattery

My daughter and I got our beautiful and hilarious cat Voodoo from here and Janet is a dedicated caretaker of so many kitties! She sent us home with a lovely cat and checked up on us to make sure he was settled into our household comfortably. Whenever we travel, she is the only person I would trust to leave our guy with. Truly a wonderful person providing an important sanctuary for kitties who need love ❤

I do volunteering for this place and it's amazing, the cats are cute, the place is great and overall amazing, if you want to volunteer but done know where, I recommend this place!

Lila's cat organisation is just brilliant.. They have accommodation for your cat while you have a business trip or holiday, or any emergency that comes you can rely on Janet to take good care of your cat. And for true cat lovers, All the money raised goes to look after older cats that need special care and love in the house she dedicated to give them all a loving home.. Every cat gets attention from cat lovers who come and visit the house. Staff are all lovely and encourage everyone to come visit and spend a little time with the old timers as a little love given makes them feel like a kitten again ❤️

My cat stayed at this cattery for 2 weeks. It was our first time using a cattery so we were very anxious leaving him. My husband and I went up to visit the cattery and everything seemed fine and Janet was assuring.On the day that we brought our cat up Janet was away and it seemed the staff were unaware that our cat was booked in that day so he had to stay in the outdoor chalet until another spot vacated later that day.On the day we went to pick up our cat we were delayed so I texted Janet about it. It takes us 1.5 hours to drive up so I asked if there will be anyone there at 1pm. We were told the opening hours were strictly 11-12 and 4-5 because that’s when the staff are there. While it was our fault for not making it in time, we were surprised to realise that the cats were alone that day aside from those two hours.Overall I thought the staff were nice and did their best to look after our cat. I wish more photos were posted. Of the 16 days he stayed we got photos of our cat on their Facebook only on 3 occasions. It would have been nice to see short videos as well as that gives better indication of how well the cats are doing.

There are only a few people I trust with my furbabies and Janet, the lady who owns this cat hotel, and her team are on that short list. Because it's a cattery and not kennels they are specific to cats. There's also a residential unit, Lila's Legacy where many unfortunate young and old cats live happily and safely. Customers and friends of the cat hotel are always welcome to visit and meet the residents. Superb place.

We have left our cats at Ballyclare Cattery numerous times. Please ignore that disgusting review that woman Sinead left. Janet is one of the most animal caring and kind people I have ever met. It does happen occasionally cats may get fleas, however if YOUR cat has been treated then they will not get fleas. Anyone who has met Janet and experienced her services will know this ladies review is totally untrue. We would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend and board our cats with her

My 3 furbabies are always very well looked after during their stay here. So well in fact that they don't want to come home!! If they're happy, I am happy!We are asked about diet prior to their stay so they get the same food they are used to. If your cat has any special requirements (medicines etc) they will be accommodated as long as they are mentioned prior to boarding.Coming into summer there are several different areas your kitties can stay including the summer house, depending on availability of course.The owner and staff are most passionate about cats so they will be in good hands.If you're still uncertain you can pay the cattery a visit to see the area for yourself. Very highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love Ballyclare cattery and the accompanying Lilas Legacy cat home. My fur babies are cared for so well here when I leave them in to go on holiday. Wouldn't leave them anywhere else.

I Was bit worried about leaving them.but got showing where thay would be staying and felt relaxed after seeing it. My Cats where well look after.didt have go away worrying about them.would 100% but them back in if was going away again. got to find out about other cats. Bit about charity that Ballyclare cattery paid for other full-time cats and loved that money going back to the cat again
