Veteranus Model Kits
This is a great place. The owner is always friendly and helpful - I went in today to buy a 0.2mm and 0.4mm needle and nozzle set for my H&S Ultra airbrush. The 0.4mm wasn't in stock, so I was offered the more expensive equivalent for the same price. Fantastic service.This is the only shop in the area that stocks Gunze Sangyo paints - my favourite, and there is a great range of kits, specialist tools and other supplies.

Great little model shop. Whilst not carrying masses of stock there was enough and quite a few of the latest kits. Also a good selection of books. Would have given 5 stars but I didn't like that lots of things were not priced.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good but small selection of models on display. Good range of accessories including paints. Easy to find but no parking at shop but ample parking spaces nearby.

The stench of stale smoke and foisty old men is unbearable. Not a bad selection of kits and large amount of paints. Otherwise the shop was full of old junk. Sorry to say but I found this a massive let down.

Dingy, smelly and depressing. Nothing of interest to any but the most amateur modeller. Waste of a journey. Use their online shop, but avoid this place.

Veteranus Model Kits
It has a decent range of paints and scenery, a limited but well represented model stock and knowledgeable staff. The only problem I have with it is that it has a musty/smoky smell, so you won't be spending much time in there.
