Colliford Lake Hotel & Holiday Site

Great location just off A30 so ideal for exploring,but still quiet. Great views of the lake. Stayed 2 nights rooms were clean, with tea and coffee facilities. Decent full English breakfast. Owners couldn't do enough for you. Good value for money.

Stayed in our motorhome for 2 nights on the way home from the cornish coast, staff very friendly, facilities more than adequate for the number of pitches. The views are beautiful and the lake is within easy walking distance. Most pitches are sloping so needed to use ramps. The main building with bar and restaurant etc was very nice.

Had a very good evening in our Campervan. Had a wonderful meal and in the morning a very good full English breakfast. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The facilities were clean and tidy. Will go there again.

Believe the reviews!We stayed one night in a family room. My son had nightmares all night. It’s the kind of place that just makes you feel dirty and not want to take your shoes off. The shower was pointless and filthy with mould- kids tried to wash hair but couldn’t even get sand out from the beach trip earlier. An open long life milk for the ‘complimentary’ hot drinks in room, wifi was nonexistent and TV didn’t work.The views are amazing but we just needed to leave. Was promised they were trying to improve but as I pointed out that was too late for us.To charge people to stay at this place is criminal.

Had a great stay at this Campsite, the new management couldn't do more to help us out. Well kept campsite with lovely views and great facilities. We enjoyed a home cooked breakfast with plenty of coffee in the morning. Thoroughly enjoyed we will be back.

Stayed in a room for one night, spotless clean and decently sized with comfortable bed. Just needs a small bin in bathroom and bath towel for floor. Beautiful, quiet location and helpful owners. Restaurant not open but got compensated for that. I wish the new owners the best of luck!

The place where the pods are located is very beautiful, but sadly managment of the place is very very terrible. First of all we booked 2 pods but as we arrived we were told they overbooked by accident and was left only with 1 pod and one couple was sent to the main building room. That was very disappointing as we booked and paid for pods. The room and toilet in the main building was very dirty. No bin, no toilet paper, no kettle was provided in the room. The manager of the place was extremely rood and didnt care much of situation they have caused to us. In his words if you not happy ill refund you and you can leave. Thats amazing solution for people who drove 300 miles to stay in this place. Like i said location is very beautiful but wrong people in charge. For that we would never visit again or never would recommend it to other people

Was very quiet when we went for a coffee. No music in the bar. I understand they are new owners so perhaps things will be slightly more welcoming in the future.

Beautiful location placed in woodlands with a view of the Colliford lake. The facilities are basic but clean, showers sometimes have hot water sometimes cold, plenty of places to walk around including Jamaica Inn. Restaurant does serve some food but not a great deal of choice. There is a little playground for kids but at the time of visit some refurbishment work being done. Nice quiet and peaceful overnight.
