St helens Council, you should be ashamed for neglecting the town ctr.The shops make the best of what they have, can't wait for the town to be regenerated .

A while since my last visit but it's still a pleasant place to shop.Nice inexpensive coffee shop to sit and watch the world go by. You'll see some interesting characters pass bye too

Absolute dump! This is St.Helens' Labour run Tory lap dog council at it's best! They're demolishing the Hardshaw Centre to keep this 1970's eyesore open? Pathetic!

Not many shops, lots are closed and the market is struggling. Shame really. Having said that, the people who are trading there are friendly and welcoming. There are 2 cafes, both are ok and there are free toilets that are kept clean.
