I chose Optegra as the surgeon Dr. Hamid had excellent reviews. It wasn't the cheapest, as they charge a little more than others, but definitely the best value for money. I never felt pressured into the hard sell, and was always treated very well.Dr Hamid and his colleagues are very amiable and they clearly take great pride in their work; I say this because after the initial surgery, I actually needed a little 'tweak' on my right eye. Clearly, this meant more work for them, and a bit of a longer wait for me to get the final finished result, but they did it anyway! They aim for perfection! I have been wearing glasses for many years, with eyes sight of -7.5. A few months ago I finally decided to look after my health and I had a SMILE procedure done by Dr Hamid at Optegra. I had my life changing lens replacement surgery 6 months ago, performed by Dr Amir Hamid.Dr Hamid explained very thoroughly the operation, possible side effects and how the procedure could have a positive impact on my life. I had RLE surgery in May this year and received fantastic after-care and follow-up appts. Dr Hamid and all the staff at Optegra were professional and courteous at all times.
