We approached Darren in 2020 (during lockdown) when we were planning a major renovation project in a property in the middle of St Andrews. He was the only Architect who was willing to visit/talk to us without demanding large sums of money upfront. It was only after he had produced actual plans with ideas on what we were looking for that we started negotiating on the price of his services. I was unable to get this type of service from any of the other half dozen Architects that we approached.He was always there to help and give support when needed and his dealings with Fife Council went without any problems.I can certainly recommend his services.

After a torrid experience with another architectural practise. I came across Darren Beresford's company, He was a breath of fresh air in securing planning permission and subsequent building warrant for a self build house near Dunfermline. The challenge on the site was not straight forward as I was hit" with numerous queries to address that none of the other plots on the site encountered and very importantly anytime I needed to communicate with Darren

Had a problem selling my house due to the loft hatch being enlarged a few years ago without a building warrant. However this company did all the plans structural reports etc and got me the required completion certificate very quickly all at a much cheaper price than the big boys!"
