Firstly the food made me ill for two days with diarrhea. The service was also very poor, we had orders completely mucked up even delivered to wrong tables, and when it was time to leave we had to ask for the bill 3 times before actually going up to the desk and saying we were going to pay. Would not recommend, would not go again!.

The food is excellent, admittedly it takes about 1 and a half hours to deliver but its well worth the wait.

Use to go here years ago in the 1980s, went back recently . Very sad to see it has gone down Hill . Service and food was poor . Not very clean inside

Not bad on previous occasions until the last time I visited. The two friends I took with me were spoken to appallingly by what seemed to be the head waiter. I shan't be returning. On top of that, my friend had asked that they simply bring us a plate of food to share instead of us ordering separately. The unspectacular result came with a price tag of over 90 pounds (slightly reduced when I added up the components to discover that one item costing over nine pounds had been included twice). Not a pleasant evening

Sometimes you just want a traditional curry house and Mumtaj gives you just that. I've been going there for a few years and it is consistently reliable and good food. Good service and smart staff and restaurant.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants i've ever been to. After spending an extensive amount of time in India, Kareems in Delhi is the only place that came close. 5 stars every time!

Great food, both eat in and take away. Separate area to rear good for groups/parties (which we have used a number of times)
