Really lovely family run car dealership. Bought my car mid-Pandemic last year and they were so friendly and not pushy at all, it was a breath of fresh air. Great to support an independent family run business too. Highly recommend! Excellent customer service and I love my car SO MUCH! :)

I recently bought a used Ford B Max from this company, a very pleasant experience. Mark and family have been at this site for 30 odd years and they were the first place I thought of when looking for a car. My wife and I went to view and we’re made to feel very welcome. The BMax was exactly the car I was looking for. It was in immaculate condition and was supported with all the relevant paperwork. After a test drive we agreed the purchase. Mark asked for a few days to give the final check over and arranged an oil and filter change for us at their expense. We left feeling very pleased with our experience . A week later I collected the car, . I was very well treated by Rob and given a detailed check over the car and everything I needed to know. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark Wittey and his company.

After visiting numerous websites and other showrooms I am delighted to say that for a small establishment they far exceeded my expectations. I was warmly greeted and left to have a look around the car lot without any pressure. They were very attentive and knowledgeable about the all their cars and my needs. Having three small children, being unemployed and not being able to afford a van that meets ULEZ requirements, they introduced me to a maroon Skoda Superb. This car is amazing, luxury and very comfortable for those family trips and a massive boot which opens to ways so that if I did find work it can carry my tools. They looked at different finance options with me under no obligation, and luckily enough I was able to purchase the car, with the option of an extended warranty. I am so pleased with my purchase, so pleased with the help and assistance they gave me and would just like to say a very big thank you to Mark, Graham and Terry for all your help, the family love it. Please read my dreadful experience and decide for yourself whether to step into their garage or not. I have recently purchased a BMW series 1 from them. During my first visit, I was told that I would get a 3-month warranty which ideally you should get from any dealer as you pay a premium of 10-15% more than the market value. They have given a discount of 550 quid on the advertised price which is still 8% more than market price and is expected to be high with dealer commission and service included.Firstly, the vehicle that I bought was surprisingly untaxed and didn't have either logbook or green slip. I was so excited to finally celebrate the fact that I received my license but soon all the excitement was shattered. As there is no logbook I would have to apply it by posting a V62 form to DVLA, which will take up to 10 weeks to get a new logbook on my name and only then taxed on my name. Until then DVLA & my insurance provider of have strictly advised me not to drive the vehicle. Meanwhile, Mark (the dealer) got the vehicle taxed on the previous owner's name as it expired 4 months ago and thinks he has done a great service for me by doing so. It is the minimal responsibility of the dealer to take care of such things. Moreover, he kept on insisting that I can drive the vehicle as it is taxed but he can't understand the simple fact that tax is not transferrable and I can't drive the vehicle until it is taxed on my name which can only be done after I get my logbook(i,e 10 weeks).Fun fact: I had to pay the insurance of the previous owner. I agreed to do so as I wanted peace of mind.I was told that I would receive a courtesy car until I get my logbook but haven't received anything yet and suddenly they changed their tone by saying that I would get the logbook within 2 weeks, it's been more than a week since I bought the car and it's been a shitty and dreadful experience. They seem to talk to you with sugar-coated words but in reality, customer service is ultra-poor. I sincerely request not to buy anything from them especially if they log book or green slip.TLDR;Don't ever buy anything from them. Stay away from these morons. Also, please don't trust the other presumable fake positive reviews.Always use AA cars or Autotrader or any other reputed dealers if at all you want to buy it from a dealer even if the pricing is a bit high and want peace of mind.

Bought a car that was broken, had to take it back 3 times. One time they said nothing was wrong, I then broke down and the AA showed yes there was, the next time I took it after this it was in a garage for 5 days, then they said it was fixed, within a day the same thing happened again and 2 days later I broke down again. The car stopped itself as the transmission was too hot. The AA then saw the issue was still the same as before. This means I wasn’t able to make it to work and lost money.The AA tried to explain the issue (as they towed me) just to be constantly spoken over, with Mark not accepting the car was faulty, consistently telling me and the AA that he knows nothing about cars. I explained the issue myself (as I researched a lot about it the first time and spoke to Ford and a mechanic myself) for him to ask me how I could know such a thing and mansplain a clutch.I returned the car, and have asked for the road tax to be taken out of my name as it’s monthly payments, no one has done this still over a week later. I’m now having to write a letter and wait up to 6 weeks for a process to be made with the DVLA to have it cancelled and refunded as I’m still paying for it. All because they won’t cancel it or tell me the V5C so I can cancel it myself.This doesn’t even include the amount of annoyance and anxiety this whole thing gave me. I had the car for 1 month and it was in a garage around 20 days of it. Literally was sold a death trap.

worst car dealer garage ever, the aftercare is shocking.Had a problem with the car within 9 days of having it. By law mark should deal with it as we bought cover and he was still not helpful at all. He said he would give us £100 toward the cost of fixing it, still waiting for it to this day. Been few months now. I highly recommend NOT to buy a car from this garage. mark acted all nice because we paid the car by cash as soon as we bought it he didn't wanna know if there was problems so please people don't buy cars from this garage cant stress enough about it and yet i am still waiting for my V5 (logbook ) i bought the car in January 2019.

Really good selection of cars in my price range. The staff were not sales-y at all and let me have the key to have a look around the car at my own pace, which I really liked because when I did ask them questions I had them all lined up in my head and ready to go. I returned for a test drive the next day, accompanied by Ricki who was knowledgeable and approachable. We reached a deal quickly and painlessly. They put the car through an MOT on the same day and I collected the car in the evening after they showed me all the features. Mark and Ricki were very professional but also (and very importantly) as a woman I didn't feel patronised or talked down to. I would definitely buy from them again and was really happy with the service I received and all communication.

The one year warranty from Warranty Solutions is the best. So, a positive experience all in all.
