Just went in to look for a remnant. Small shop - lots of swatches for selection. Very friendly and helpful owner. From first impressions, go here first if you're looking to have your carpets fitted.

Great friendly service at this little carpet shop. Found what we needed in the shop at a very good price. As we were going away we hoped to get it fitted before leaving and they managed to fit us in on a Bank Holiday Monday! The fitters were professional, friendly and on time and were done in no time. Did a great job fitting the carpet and even hovered up at the end. I will definitely use this little team when I'm looking for my next carpet. Thank you Carpet Bargain!

Great job. Friendly service and efficient work. We have the boys the challenge of cutting the vinyl round this island, but it was almost impossible to see the join. Recommended!

I checked the installation of my fitted carpet after the fitter had left, and the nails used to attach the rug by one of the doors were visible. Five indentations clearly visible on the floor. I called to ask them to send the guy back to fix this, and when he returned, he had a stinking attitude about it. Very angry, borderline aggressive. But he fixed the problem, then left. I did wonder why he hadn't done it correctly in the first place. Two weeks later, some of the screws on the plate separating the carpet from the next room had come up, they were sticking up and you could feel them when you stepped on them. I tried to tighten them, but the screws were stripped. Three times I phoned to ask them to come and fix this and three times they said they would get right back to me. Three times, they never did. They have never come to fix this problem. so I will absolutely never use this company again.

I can’t recommend Carpet Bargain Store highly enough.I have just bought carpets for my hallway and bedroom here, and couldn’t be happier with the service and value.I felt very welcome in the shop, and was provided with good advice. Everyone was friendly, polite and professional. I was offered a delivery and fitting within a few days. The fitters came at exactly the time arranged. They were also friendly and professional. They took good care of my flat and took all their rubbish away.There are plenty of carpet places around, and it can be hard to know where to start when everywhere seems to have loads of carpets in the same small selection of colours. I felt like Carpet Bargain Store had a good selection without over-complicating things. Highly recommended. I’ll be back when it’s time to carpet my living room.

Would highly recommend this local business. From the first enquiry to the fitting just yesterday, they were always happy to help and quick to get back to me regarding any questions. Delighted with the final look and the fitter yesterday was on time, quick and left the place immaculate.
