I Ben into this restaurant many times wat always been very goodbut today I'm very disappointed I ask for starters they forgot then my meat was not fresh by the smellPeople in the kitchen they need to read the order before start cooking the menkalAnd they have to serve fresh foodToke 90m for may meet to be ready and that's what openigsThey need more staff

I returned here recently after having not been for a couple of years, as I'd moved out of the area and have to say, it's even better than I remember. Phillipe is still front of house, and I was reassured to see the same lady in the kitchen.It's always bustling and busy, and there's a reason for that - the food is excellent, and it's excellent value.You may have to wait a while to get fed, but believe me, you won't regret it, the food here is delicious, and cooked with love. It's a great place.The last time I went, four of us went - I was treating a couple of mates, and one of them's son.We eat a really good meal, including mixed espetada, pichanha and the excellent home made fries, had wine and beers, and it came to 88 pounds - if you can find good food at a lower price anywhere in London, I'd be amazed.If you want proper home style portuguese food, I think this is the best place in South London.

This restaurant has become my favorite place in Tulse Hill. The blonde waitress is very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Typical Portuguese food at affordable prices.

The menu, staff and crowd are Portuguese. With the addition of a cheap English breakfast menu until 12pm. An espresso (and coffee is good) is only £0.80! The dish in the picture is £6. Good value for money. Taste was good, portion huge. The mains on the menu are on average £12 but trust me, even a stocky man would struggle to finish it off therefore ask for a doggy bag and enjoy what's left on the plate the following day. They use lots of good oil and local herbs which make the dish even better when microwaved at home.

Great service and good atomsphere. Food is tasty. Excellent customer service friendly Portuguese waitress. Wine list excellent. Enjoyed the house wine....Seabass delicious and the Portuguese mixed grill...on the menu some traditional dishes are only cooked and served on weekends sonread carefully...recently refurbished light and airy.

Lovely little Portuguese restaurant with great traditional dishes.The fact that most people there speak portuguese say it all.I had a great bif a portuguesa with a super bock!
