K2 Conservatories

What a great product. Everything supplied for a quick and efficient installation .Minimum skills needed to end up with a perfect conservatory.

OK. I bought mine ten years ago. Fabulous self build conservatory, very cost effective. After ten years I finally got sick of the leak through the muntin bars on the roof vent, and decided to replace with a plain panel, as I had fitted air conditioning. That means I need a new top cap for the glazing bars.So, spares aren't easy to get, as Synseal (who owned K2) have JUST gone bust. However, Aperture have taken them over, and seem to be trying hard to sort issues out. Hopefully matters will improve with time.So the conservatory, its 5 star for sure, great build, fabulous price and easy to assemble. I will comment on the spares once I know how good Aperture are going to be. Fingers crossed.

Meant to be diy conservatories would help if several of the parts hadn't been made wrong had to remove the windows and start again after cutting down parts then found another major part wrong they said it would be delivered within 3 days but it took 5 not including the weekend. not happy!!!!

I would strongly avoid having a K2 conservatory installed. At a cost of £30k they cannot even bother to supply replacement parts especially guttering. As a consumer I have been sent around in circles trying to locate a 4m length of gutter and not one of their dealers is interested in helping out. Its not as though i was asking it for free..I'm more than happy to pay.

Great conservatory. Very easy to construct on existing base of old conservatory. BUT!...After sales experience was appalling! I ordered some spare parts in early July and after numerous phone calls and incorrect deliveries including receiving someone else's spare parts who lived at the other end of the country....I finally got the last of my spares today...14th September! Rubbish experience.

Just finished the build - a simple wide fronted Victorian. I'm impressed with the K2 fitting system - it all went together rather well. Our design was 'best fit' to an existing conservatory base. Although our conservatory is symmetrical, it was still important to follow the window order, as per the plan (which I found-out the hard way!). Had use of an adjustable tower scaffold which made the roof section much easier to fit. I used an old fence post to support the boss once the first hip bar was attached, and raised the tower platform until the other glassing bar bolt holes aligned. Had a few damaged items which were re-posted to me within 48 hours.

Absolutely dreadful! Their quality and service has fallen dramatically over the last few months. DIY kits are being delivered with bits missing, bits wrong, wrong sizes and damaged bits. Getting their customer services to do anything has been a nightmare. It is very difficult to actually get hold of anybody and when we do they promise to ring back but NEVER do. Deliveries of missing/replacement parts to customer sites don't happen on the promised dates or the wrong parts are sent. They simply ignore support tickets raised on their system. Avoid them like the plague!
