Phoenix Canoe Club & Outdoor Centre
A great place to learn how to paddle. There are places to leave your personal belongings safe. Waterproof gear is available. Instructors here are ever so knowledgeable about the activities available. A thorough safety guide given allowing all participants to feel secure whilst paddling. Great techniques were taught for beginners to allow people to make the most out of their experience.Lots of assistance was given to those who found it difficult. I would go again and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has never been!

Went to one of the supervised stand up paddleboarding sessions and had a brilliant time. Staff were super friendly, gave helpful tips and we had a brilliant time. Will definitely be coming back!

Went for an afternoon with work colleagues. The staff were really friendly, approachable, positive and down to earth.Initially you are taught how to handle the kayak along with health and safety.You are then placed in a penned area to practice going forwards, backwards and to turn.Once mustard you are let out into the main water space where water football and other games were played.Really fun afternoon, your bottom will get wet so bring a change of clothes.

Had the most amazing experience with the Canoe Club. Phil, Mandy and Harry were just great. It was so nice to break up the class with games too. I felt very safe yet was encouraged to explore, like the mini white water on the Grand Union Canal. I also admired how they dealt with all ages and abilities, and were so encouraging to the children on the course too. Truly incredible. Thank you, all.

I just completed the PowerBoat Level 2 at Phoenix Center, and I can tell that there are really serious about what they do! Marc has a been an amazing instructor. I know feel really confident to get on a boat following all the rules I learnt. I recommend this center 100% ! Thanks for the time spent and our professionalism.

Took some young people as part of the wellbeing program for water sports activities. Really good program for young people and great place with great instructors. The young people had a lot of fun, activities available include paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, raft building.

We had an amazing time with Mark. We did the Level 1 sailing course and it was a lot of fun. He was very patient explaining everything. I highly recommend this place for a level 1 dinghy course with Mark. Be ready to capsize a few times before getting the hang of it. :D

Super professional team of specialists. They really look after the young folks. Safety first despite the down pour of heavy rain. My son loved it and thanks to Ruby and Ollie who made his trial session loads of fun. Mark and Phil are accessible and friendly. I'll be back with my boy soon. In fact... Well worth becoming a member. Added bonus the place is stunning.
