Barries Dry Cleaning Sittingbourne

Absolute rip off merchant ....charged 20 pounds for next day dry- cleaning and lining stitching of a school boy jacket .....Not even in Mayfair is such prices charged ..and he had tbe nerve to tell me to come back so he can undo the stitching.

Always friendly and first class service! I’ve had items altered brilliantly and they’ve also rescued my failed attempt at hand washing a dry clean only garment (where the colour ran and I thought the cashmere/wool blend would be ruined forever!) Highly recommend.

This dry cleaners is in the town and not far from parking. The staff and owner are all very friendly and helpful. They do a good job of the dry cleaning. We use them regularly. Once we accidentally left a sizeable amount of money in a suit pocket. They called us and asked if we left money in the jacket. My husband forgot he had so said no. They then called us back and said no you definitely have and were honest about it. Nice trustworthy local independent business.

Took 2 suits and a Jacket in to be dry cleaned. Was quoted £55. I thought that's expensive and asked, the guy became very stand offish. So I decided to try elsewhere. The Dry Cleaners in Sheerness charged £33. Huge difference, I suspect that Barries is taking advantage of locals knowing they have a monopoly in Sittingbourne.

Very nice gentlemen to deal with, excellent customer service. I had a dress altered for a wedding I was going to, once I picked it up and tried it on at home, the stitching came undone (my fault) and once I phoned him, he was very kind, asked me to bring the dress in straight away and redone the alteration quickly, staying open late for me to pick up. Would go there again, thank you :)

Sorry but just collected the dress. Asked make my dress shorter. My dress looks like this. Photos added. It cost me 25£ for this view. Never ever again.

Always a professional and friendly service from Barrie's. I have been using them for dry cleaning for a while but today,on the off chance, took a handbag for repair as the lining had gone. I did not expect them to do leather repairs but the bag was whisked away and in less than 5 minutes the lining was fixed ! Thank you Barrie's!

I brought my super king size duvet to wash and the guy made up the craziest price ever:£40!!!! I paid £20 just last year in another place. The price was an extortion and I went to another place to get charged half the price. I definitely won’t come back.

First time using this service and I'm unimpressed. It seems they take advantage of being the only dry cleaners on the high street and in the wider area. The attendant rang up the order so quickly I didn't even have a chance to ask the cost... had I known I would've taken it up to London when I'm there next- 1 suit cost £15 and 1 suit jacket cost £12.50... good customer service would have suggested to bring a pair of trousers in to make it better value for money - if not this time then next time, which is unlikely as I won't be going back if I can help it! On collection the attendant barked at me No cards

ABYSMAL customer service!! Took my coat in to dry clean; the younger worker said £30 but the water damage can't come off. I was ok with this till the owner came over and started we can't get that off." The worker then said yes we can't get it off but it'd still be £30. The owner then starts shouting it cannot be done. I said "I know the water damage can't be repaired but I'm trying to establish if it could be cleaned."That was it. He started shouting and carrying on!! "You know what....you know you know. I said it can't be done. I'm the professional. Just take your thing and go!!" Just like that!! I left and even as I was leaving he was carrying on.Horrendous experience."
