Irresponsible, shameless liars taking advantage of old people.One of the most expensive places to get your car serviced in the whole of the UK.They are not registered with the Motor Ombudsman.Reasons for saying this:They didn't chek the timing belt on my 76 year old mother's car... 20 miles after a service it broke causing severe engine damage requiring a new engine.They said as it was low mileage they wouldn't have checked it.It turned out it was outside of manufacturer guarantee on age.They ignored 3 email enquiries and 2 written letters (over several months)... and told my Mum they wouldn't speak to her.I've just visited in person and staff confirmed they've been told not to communicate with me.They have changed story to say they have no liability for not checking/suggesting a replacement of the timing belt (as low mileage excuse wasn't valid).Reputable garages wouldn't put responsibility for knowing manufacturers guarantees for engine parts on owners (particularly elderly ones).I will be pursuing this legally... but please save yourselves the bother.

I really recommend this place, my BMW 530 had a problem which I took it to a lot of places to fix it but none of them could have figured it out, but Chris & Chris motors found the problem and fixed my car in no time with minimum cost.Now I've been going there for 2 years, no matter what the problem with my car is.

I have been taking my car to Chris for the past 10 years for its service and MOT. They are very honest and always do a great job. I completely trust them when it comes to my car and would recommend them to anyone. Fantastic garage.

The mechanic called Robert was very helpful and reliable. He detected the problem with injection very quickly. Also replaced the clutch in no time.

Excellent and honest service, quickly diagnosed the issue with the vehicle, charged a very fair price and sorted it within 24 hoursI asked for advice on what the cost of fixing multiple scratches on the car would be given that I am going to be selling the vehicle. He gave very honest advice that the cost of the repair would likely be much more than the cost I would get for selling the vehicle on and therefore it isn't financially worth it - appreciated this advice as they could have just gone ahead with the repairs as requested and made more money [to my detriment]! Happy to have found a reliable garage in Richmond!

Wonderful local MOT garage which can do all the repairs for most makes of vehicles, these guys genuinely care and provides the service wanted from all but provided by so few. I’ve used Chris & Chris for over 20 years and appreciate them always accommodating me and providing me an honest answer on ever single occasion.
