What a wonderful stay !Traditionally British with a contemporary flair.When we left CastleView for the train station (literally one minute walk away) our whole family said “Good Bye Cottage !.It was a sign we had come to love our stay so much in just two days.It is minutes from it all yet a world away.Definitely will be back !Thank you so much."

Fabulous stay! The place is quite petite, but has everything you could want. The host, Jenny, was lovely and friendly, but merely said hello and asked if we needed anything, then left us alone. Lancaster was also a lovely surprise: pretty and small enough to easily navigate. I would just mention that the 'hidden bed' and bath, though lovely, are not suitable for people with limited mobility.Would certainly come back, perhaps in colder weather, to take use of the wood burner fire!

Fabulous self-catering accommodation . Beautiful decor with all the facilities that you need for your holiday. Very quirky sleeping arrangement, which was very comfortable. However, accessibility to this may not suit all visitors. The location of this property is excellent for exploring Lancaster City and surrounding areas. Private onsite parking is a bonus.

Absolutely wonderful little cottage with modern conveniences and plenty of style, with views of the castle and an easy walk to all the important bits of Lancaster. The owners are friendly and helpful and there's lots of information in the book on the kitchen table both about the cottage and the local area. The main bed is a bit of a challenge to get in and out of without bruising a shin (could do with a step), but it's well worth it for the experience. Will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely cottage, self contained, gorgeous bath and hidden bedroom. Right in the center of lancaster as well.
