I am writing this for friend who feels conned by this company. She applied for a loan not realising about the cost involved for applying, now if she was in a good place she would have had the money and not need to apply for a loan and a lot of people reply for loans don't have £79 to pay for it and ever since I've tried to take the money out of her account but when she tries to ring them you cannot get through to anyone just get given the email address I would give I will tell anyone to stay away from this company as all they are is a broker and they just take money for nothing especially when people are in Dire Straits like my friend was and now she's being charged for it and has to change her whole bank completely. I would strongly recommend that everyone stays away from this company as if you do need a short term loan a lot of people don't have the money to pay the £79 upfront and a company that does not even let you contact them by phone to me it's a shame company. I would also like people to be careful applying for loans as my friend was signed up for all different sorts of things like social media platforms and charged for it when she did not want it. So please be careful when applying for a loans and only apply for the big companies that are trustworthy not any loan brokers or any little companies.

This company must be the biggest set of SCAMMERS going.I applied to use their service and immediately knew it wasnt for me.I instantly tried to cancel my application , via telephone , a recorded message ! and then email , a computer generated repy !Then 2 weeks later ,they go ahead and take their 'fee' from my bank ,without the decency of contacting me about my cancellation?.My banks fraud team are well aware of this company and deal with complaints regularly.Please read all reviews on Castle Finance Direct , before you apply.I am now going to use every organisation possible ,to make sure this company and its 'dealings' get looked into

Everything about Castle Finance is so wrong. Absolute scam and a bunch of Fraud! They have been taking £49 out of my bank account for no reason, I never even applied for a loan with them! I have tried to contact this place on several occasions, and I get told by someone called Trina, that I've got the wrong company, I've even emailed on their site to file a complaint, yet I still get told its not the company, even though the email has Castle Finance" in the address. Makes no sense!I'd encourage everybody to report this company to authorities and keep reporting as scam/fraud."

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY..... after applying online for a loan, I received a call from a guy called Sean, who told me because the loan was unsecured I needed to pay a fee of 299.20 and the money would be transferred into my bank 10 minutes later. I then took some time to think about it and received about 6 calls in this time. I paid the fee waited for a call back which I didn’t receive, I then called the company back and went through to a loan broker called luke who told me I now had to pay an additional 499.00 for tax which the company would refund, after telling Luke that I hadn’t been told anything at all about the possibility of having to pay anything else. I was told to get the money and call back. I then called Sean back to be told the company would pay 250 and I had to pay 250 to which I told him I didn’t have 250 to pay. I was then told that I had to pay the 250 and on asking him to cancel the loan I was told that it was not possible to cancel the loan and I could not have my 299.00 back as this had now left there account. I believe this company are extremely unprofessional and are pushy and do not in anyway disclose all details you may need in order to make a financial choice. I am extremely disappointed by the treatment and dispute numerous requests have still received no paperwork at all from the company. Please do not use.

Absolute scam!!,They charged my account £79.00,For nothing they did nothing at all and you dont know your being charged until you finished the application.I have emailed them 5 times to get my money back and tried to call but its just an automated phone service.I will be reporting this to my bank as fraud as they took it and have not even contacted me about giving it back.DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT!!!

Attempted to take 49 from my card, luckily I had cancelled my card immediately after reading these reviews. This company does not offer a loan or any services, they try to steal your money. Cancel your card immediately and they can't take it

They charge you £79 and they take the money streight away from the account even if you take or not the loan, anyway no one contact me. This is fraud. I called and e mail them and nobody answer and the bank cannot make anything. Be careful. Avoid this company!!!!

I had used this company to find a consolidation loan but never took one out. On the example given for repayments and the total to be repayed is dishonest as it says that if you take out a loan the 79 pound admin fee would be applied. I never took any form of credit from them and they went into my account several times to take out the 79 pounds. Been onto the bank and they have given me numbers to phone but they are only automated messages. Emailed them too and it's just a stock reply. Actually spoke to a man who asked how I even got this number, then said my refund was authorised and would get it within 10 working days. He never asked my name or account details or anything else except for my post code. Tried same number again today and its dead. Stay away folks if you are only looking at finance but not ready to take out credit. It will be taken from your account regardless. Scam. Just add more recent events. I sent an email and told them I had sent a complaint to the financial ombudsman who said would investigate. I got my refund.

I had originally wrote a bad review for this company as I hadn't heard from them. I take it back as I was contacted today by Tony who was lovely and had explained that there was a mix up with my file. Tony was very helpful and even asked about how my son was which he didn't have to do...i appreciated this as my son dosent keep well. I wouldn't say they are a scam company and would advise that you read what your getting into with any company. I don't blame them for what happened it has just been a mix up. Thanks Tony for sorting this and taking the time to ask how my son was

This company took £79 from my bank account, with no actual consent from me! I have been left overdrawn so on top of not having a penny left to last me, I will now have to pay bank charges too. I have contacted them via email but heard nothing back. I will 100% be taking the matter further if I don’t receive my money back ASAP!Does anyone have a contact number for these clowns please?The ones I have tried to call just play recorded messages- very unhelpful, very unprofessional. I’ve paid for a service that I didn’t want & havent actually been provided with anyway. I simply filled in a form to make an enquiry & they took the money! I hadn’t heard a word since filling the form out & they decided to take the money out over a week later! Dodgy as hell! Avoid at all costs!
