Bathwick Tyres - Team Protyre

My wife dropped off her car for two tires today. When she returned an hour later they told her the locking wheel nut couldn't be found so no works undertaken. I appreciate it is our responsibility to make the key readily available so hard to argue. Other than the fact I found it in the boot, with the spare wheel / wrench caddy thing within a minute of looking myself.My reason for a low review is because they allowed her to drive out of their premises with less than 10psi in her tyre. As a professional company and individual looking at the vehicle they should have a duty of care, whether they undertake works or not to take action on things like this. It's dangerous to drive a car with little or no air in the tyre, and something that could've been resolved with next to no effort at all. Shameful.

Third time I’ve used Bathwick Tyres this year and the third time I’ve had excellent service. On this occasion I didn’t even have an appointment as my car battery suddenly packed up. However, despite not having the appropriate one in stock, Bathwick were able to order and install one all in the space of about three hours. Impressive!

Great service very friendly staff, supplied and fitted my 2 new tyres to the front of the car and checked all the tyre pressures to correct pressures, best service ever. 10/10

I was booked in via Blackcircles for a single tyre to be fitted in an AM appointment, turned up at 1100 and was told that I was too late and should have been there at 0830. This was not mentioned anywhere when purchasing or on the confirmation email. They initially refused to rebook the fitting, but eventually offered me a slot a couple of days later arriving at 0830 and taking until 1230. 4 hours for a 15 min job! Returned and was then told I would have to pay an additional £5.60 to leave the car with them in the public car park opposite, rather than on the forecourt, for the 4 hours they insisted on. They had a few cars in for tyres that morning and seemed to remove a wheel from every car early first thing and then leave it until 1215 before refitting all of the wheels. Very inconvenient compared to every other tyre fitter I have used, and cost extra (for the car park) and to top it all, they were rude and condescending throughout. Definitely avoid.

I booked my mot online for £14 it was booked in for 830AM On the email it said to arrive 15 minutes early which I did.However they did not open u till 830 so I waited outside for 15 minutes for nothing.My car failed the mot on a wing mirror indicator which I accepted they also said they put my rear belts down as a cautionary as I had a dog cover and as they are not allowed to touch it.I've not experienced this anywhere else never took off the dog natt I will next time.I took it back for the retest being told to come back at 830 which I did however the garage remained closed until 845 as I was told the big boss was down no apology nothing I was 1 of about 8 customers just waiting and waiting. The price was great but the overall service was disappointing

Once again the guys at Protyre, Bideford have saved the day! I always come here for any tyre issues but this time, it was something else (I had no idea what!!) They fitted in and fixed our son's car - same day! Worth every penny.

I had an M.O.T. and service carried out,The guys were polite,efficient and explained in full everything that was done to my vehicle,i will certainly use Team Protyres again.A satisfied customer,Mr Rod Samuel's.

Wouldn't even give them one star .We needed help to get home from our holiday as we had a flat tyre, with our two dogs in the car. The three employees were on their phones and very reluctant to help. They had a poor attitude, so we left to find a local garage that had a far superior level of customer service. Would not recommend (even in an emergency!)

What a super bunch of guys ,during this week i have visited your Bideford Branch twice for tyres, and an M.O.T, on both occasions i was treated in a most friendly professional way with positive advice given. Great service ,well done .
