GREAT ESCAPE Poole Boat Hire & Charter

I cannot praise Richard enough and also give thanks to Donna as both hosts made our experience unforgettable. Firstly it was lovely to find a company that is personal. We struggled with a bout of bad weather and were given the option to reschedule right up until the charter. Luckily the sun came out and we had the most memorable day at sea celebrating a friends wedding. Richard and Donna are so lovely and made the trip that much more special. We felt so welcomed onto their beautiful boat, the champagne was flowing as we sailed out into the solent and paused at a beautiful spot just off the Isle of Wight. Highly recommend, if you want an unforgettable experience look no further.

Enormous thanks to the best skipper Richard, and his wonderful hostess Donna. Our group chartered the Great Escape for the day on the august bank holiday weekend and it was an incredibly memorable day! The boat is so luxurious and it honestly felt like we were in the Mediterranean! We couldn’t have asked for better, their attention to detail was second to none. Highly recommended ⭐️

What an amazing day!!! We chartered the boat as part of a birthday celebration for my husband and our 5 year old grandson. We have two grandkids 3 and 5 and they have not stopped talking about the day. Both took a shining to Richard especially the youngest who just kept asking to talk to the captain. Both Richard and Donna were amazing hosts. We had trouble getting in as there was an event on and Richard met us to help show us where to park and also help us down to the dock. We chartered a full day and went out to Yarmouth which was just magical. Richards knowledge of the area and pointing out all the land marks was second to none. Donna was an amazing host and had even kindly bought a bag of sweets each for the kids. We had brought a bottle of Champagne for our journey back from Yarmouth which Donna had ready in a bucket of ice upon our arrival back at the boat. It was a great cruise back to the quay we even anchored up for a bit on our way back in and it was really lovely to get to chat to both Donna and Richard, such great people. We got back with a completely passed out 5 year old. :) (What a day he had) Richard and Donna went above and beyond again and helped us back up and waited with my husband and the two kids whilst I went and got the car. I can not recommend this charter enough and we will definitely be booking with them again. Truly amazing guys!!!!

We all had an amazing time regardless of the weather conditions, we even saw dolphins really close to the boat! What an experience!! Donna and Richard were amazing I would totally recommend!

We had an amazing day with Richard and Donna on the Escape. Cannot fault the service and care. From the first moment they put you completely at ease. We loved their spotless yacht, and the coastline was incredible. Had a blissful 3 hours in the cove, eating drinking, swimming and paddleboarding. We will definitely be back. Thanks again! These lovely lovely people have given us an experience of a life time . The food was great the company and everything they did to make the whole experience one i will never forget , the boat knowledge and area knowledge was amazing would highly highly recommend for any special occasion or experience Thankyou richard and donna

Found this Private Yacht Charter from a leaflet in the Marina Office. We were looking for something different as we come to Poole Quay every year. Done all the Boat trips etc etc. Mum Dad 2 teenagers and Granny 84.Booked for the 4 hr hire , lovely looking boat turned up good size , all boxes ticked as we waited with our 3 bags of Tesco food and drinks on the Quayside. (You only need to bring the Alcohol you need for 4 hrs as they supply everything else you need) Richard and Donna our Hosts really made us welcome and off we went , drinks in hand on the top deck. Moored off the beach feeling this is the life and part of the Monaco Jetset , whilst Richard and Donna got Paddle Boards out for the kids which gave much enjoyment whilst the kids tried to master and kept falling off.Time flies by and much Sandwiches and Prosecco flowed , before you know it 4 hrs gone !! Gentle drive back to the Quay , sun shining chatting with our Lovely Hosts who made the whole experience so amazing.Kids and Granny still talking about our Yachting Day Out to anyone we meet.Will be booking the whole day experience next time in Poole.Thank you Richard and Donna and I hope your business thrives this season , it will be well deserved.Steve & Emma.

The most AMAZING trip, with wonderful hosts Richard & Donna. Our four children absolutely LOVED the whole day! We felt safe and looked after at all times. Thank you so much! We hope you come to Wales soon!
