Had a lovely evening at the great northern. Bar staff and landlady are really friendly beers was spot on. And the atmosphere was awesome. A small but quaint pub with a lot of history.

Fresh beer, clean and comfortable, friendly staff, great locals. One of the best pubs I've been into in the uk, no jokes. Nothing crazy but exactly what a pub needs to be.

I have been in Luton for 3 days now and after a meal at another establishment I stop here for a pint of John Smith's. Or two. The owners, John and Loretta are the perfect hosts.
