We found this place by chance and are so glad that we did. It's a great place to stop or start a walk asking the stunning Cornish coast. There were a constant stream of guests who were all given a warm welcome and served quickly. This old pub had a great atmosphere. The menu had a good range of options and was reasonably priced. Once ordered, the meals were delivered quickly and were perfectly cooked and very tasty.I would definitely recommend you pop into this place if you are in the area of Zennor. You won't be disappointed.

The bar is cosy and perfect after a walk. The food was speedy. Nachos were big and filling, with plenty of salsa, cheese, and sour cream. My husband had the veggie chilli, which was delicious but smaller portion wise. Ham,egg, and chips were equally filling, big portioned, and satisfying.Initially, the pub was full, and we were in the extension area, which is great when the main pub section is full. It didn't have the same atmosphere as the old bar bit, and we managed to get a table there to eat.Staff were friendly, accommodating, and generally lovely. They went out of their way to make sure guests knew to order food 30 secs before the kitchen closed, when coming in hungry after the rain storm.Definitely one to return to.

Decided on lunch here after a blustery walk! Warm welcome, beautiful woodfire smell, friendly ambience and food to match! Great menu including some great veggie options - we had a burger & a chilli - both excellent! Will definitely be back.

The minute I walked into bar, I could feel the comfortableness. The welcome was second to none. Loved it. The bubble and squeak was like my mum used to make. Dog friendly too.

Evening meal and breakfasts excellent. Wonderful atmosphere.Stayed at Tinner's White House" accommodation which was also excellent.......my only comment is that some of the internal wooden doors didn't close properly

We really enjoyed the fish and chips. The batter was perfect and the rest of it was really tasty. The staff were friendly and the garden is a great place to sit and enjoy a pint. Inside is full of character. There was a bit of a mix up when I was paying for the food and beers when another barman added someone else's drinks on to mine but it was all sorted out without any fuss. It's definitely worth getting a bowlful of the peanuts out of the huge jar on the bar. Very tasty!

Lovely quaint pub with great outside seating too on a nice day. Both times it was raining so we squeezed inside. Must try food on another occasion.

A Proper old fashioned boozer. And if you walked the evil coastal path from St Ives this is a the place for that well earned pint. I absolutely loved visiting this pub
