Meersbrook Park
I have had many experiences of Meersbrook Park at all hours of the day & night in various states of sobriety and inebriety. It’s got a great view of Sheffield and the foxes come out to play at night. There’s a kids playground, tennis/basketball courts and possibly the most dangerous sledging hill in the UK. And benches so you can enjoy the view. Quite often in the summer evenings, you’ll find pleasant young people listening to reggae music and smoking jazz woodbines.

Meersbrook Park
One of the best parks in the city. A large green space with plenty of trees and a reasonable sized wooded area, a playing field, small skate park and children's playground. The park is built on a hill and can be fairly steep in places but the climb is worth it for the view of tree city. There is a small walled garden and the Bishop's House is a preserved 15th century half timbered house open on weekends and definitely worth the trip.

Fantastic park. There are so many events going off here it seems to be a lovely community that come together. When we visited last Sunday a race was on and local people had gathered to play music and to cheer the participants on.

We love this park. So much beauty and wonderful things to do. Playground, tennis courts, skatebowl, lawn bowls in the summer, brook exploring, the woods, walled garden ( Japanese garden, herb & sensory garden, fruit+ vegetable patches, green house with large fish, gorgeous green lawn) obstacle course /exercise circuit top of the park (which the kids love clambering and balancing over), Bishop Courts house, Meersbrook Hall, park playground ...it's AMAZING

Fantastic views of the city from Turner's view (yes, THE Turner), and the quirky Bishop's House (tiny, and not a Bishop's official palace, there was just a Bishop in the family, it's a small farm house). Still exploring the area - there's a walled garden I haven't seen yet, and some lovely neighbourhood murals.

Meersbrook Park
A great local park with significant hills and historic structures. Aside from Bishop's House, there is Meersbrook Hall and the walled garden. The best view of Sheffield is from the top of the hill near Bishop's House where you can spread a blanket in any weather.Never too busy, lots of local flavour, and great for families.

This place is great! Every time you think you've found the best lookout, another one is right behind it! Lots of space for kids and dogs to play and plenty for the adults to enjoy as well.

Meersbrook Park
Great views across the city of Sheffield from this high vantage point. The park is on a hillside so if you walk down the hill you'll have to walk up and it's very steep - be warned. Lots of benches to relax on as you're walking back up.....children's play equipment for the children, woodland and a garden area.

Meersbrook Park
A lovely little park with tennis courts and childrens play area. This park is home to bishops house a Tudor hunting lodge now a museum with Tudor period rooms. There are also wonderful panoramic views of Sheffield from the top of the hill. It is great for sledging in winter thanks to it's steep hills.
