Very small privately owned car, grateful it was there as the dam is under refurbishment and there is no parking near it.

There's a small private car park with honesty box opposite a viewpoint where you can just breathe the fresh air, watch the birdlife and enjoy the tranquil view.

Picnic benches are in a state of disrepair.Two broken and two working.Dont forget to walk over the road into the viewing area.

Lovely reservoir great walk not too taxing. Plenty of wildlife good for twitching some viewing areas around. One side is a road way.

Very confused as to what the car park is for?I parked there with the idea (crazy) that I would be able to walk somewhere (to a reservoir) with my dogs, I couldn't. I could only walk them up a narrow road and no matter how hard I looked I couldn't find any way to get near the water let alone get off the road as it's all private land etc. What's the car park for? I saw that you can walk on the other side of the reservoir along the Nidd way however this is miles away from the car park, what is this car park for? Who parks there and what do they do?

Beautiful scenery all around. Very clam place. Benches are installed to sit and eat as well but there is no bin. Parking is free but voluntary donation can by given by putting coins in a box.

Surprisingly long drive from the main road but well worth it for the views and walks. Good sized car park at the end ideal for a picknick.
