Finally a south Indian restaurant in Huddersfield! And the owners are Muslim so meat is halal bonus. We went for lunch,tried the masala dosa it was massive and absolutely delicious..the chicken 65 was nice too. Finished it off with black tea with cardoman...a lovely little place in prime position. We will definitely return

Great place for a good and new south Indian cuisine experience. I never tried that specific one and I was really impressed, they also have a lot of vegetarian options. The food is amazing, fresh and comforting. I tried a South Indian paratha and it was great with the curry, the lamb was delicious and the chickpea curry also nice.The staff gave me and my friend a number of tasting options and the quality was great. Absolutely would recommend and will definitely be going back.

Our first visit to this restaurant and well impressed. Firstly by the very warm welcome and excellent service and next to the excellent food. This is southern Indian - Kerala - based and is wonderful. Quite the best we have had outside of India itself.Prices are reasonable and we will certainly be visiting again. Highly recommended.

Great food! Though we've eaten at many an Indian restaurant, this was of a different variety and taste to anything we've experienced before.Ate there 2 nights in a row whilst my friend was visiting, and good food each night. An unassuming looking place from the outside, nestled amongst quite standard takeaways, but definitely a hidden gem in Huddersfield!

We had a good lunch here. They served us even though we reach near to the closing time. Many options available. All the food we ordered was tasty. The owners were very polite and friendly. Would definitely visit again.

My husband and I ate here last night for the first time. We were impressed with the not only the quality and flavour of the food, but also the delicious and authentic drinks on offer too. I’m never very adventurous when it comes to trying new Indian foods but last night I tried a new starter and main. I wasn’t disappointed. The service was outstanding too - we do not live in the local area but will definitely be looking to see when we can return as it was well worth it!

Oh my goodness, this is the most delicious restaurant I have eaten at in Huddersfield. I cannot fault anything, everything was delicious and cooked to absolute perfection. The flavours were amazing, really very divine food. Lovely hospitable staff that were happy to make chit chat, teach me proper pronunciation and advise dish recommendations.We ordered the masala dosa, after seeing many reviews rave about it and YES, you simply MUST try it if you haven’t already!The Chicken Varattiyathu was exceptional as was the Lamb Kurma. My first time eating Parotta also and I thoroughly enjoyed.We were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived as everything was so reasonably priced.Cannot wait to go back to try more of the menu and will be exclusively ordering takeout from here only from now on!!Customers for life after one exceptional visit, thank you muchly for cooking beautiful food and being amazing people ✨❤️

I don't know why folk go to the usual suspects in Huddersfield - the latest excellent Indian is Veppura on Cross Church Street. Beats spots off the tired competition.The food is excellent, fresh and plentiful. My beloveds dosa was crispy fresh and tasted perfect. While I had the beef and potato which was delicious. The place is a south India style place and tasted as we remembered it from visiting. This part of India eats beef hence the beef curry.Unlicensed but we were happy with coke and a delicious thick mango lassi - more solid than a drink really but the yoghurt went well with the spicy.Our meal came in at a very frugal £30 for the two of us - shared veg bhaji to start - again very tasty and fresh, and our meal was well enough to fill us with a nice naan bread.Very pleasant venue and a lovely family running the place - my new favourite Huddersfield curry place. Try it out!

Great place to eat and we were quickly seated. Food was ready in good time (as I had to catch a train) however on arrival it could have been warmer and portions larger (as bowls are very shallow). Vegetarian dishes were tasty but could have been seasoned a little more as I had to add a little salt (lentil dhaal for example). We also had mango lassi which was pricey to say it was in a small cup (I've had jugs of mango lassi at other restaurants which was much better value for money. Overall staff were friendly and very attentive though!

Came here in the evening for food. The masala dosa was incredible. Very authentic. The service from our waitress was friendly and helpful, and helped us to make our food choices. Good value for money. Will definitely return!
