Attended the opening on Wednesday where I had previously seen on a bill board 2 beers for £5.00 promotion As it was a hot day I was planning to dine later on. I went to the bar the tender was clueless and was not aware of what beers were on the promo. I preceded outside to drink my beer only to be confronted by an old woman who I initially thought was a member of the public questioned me as to how I knew about this promo. She told me it had been removed as there was no money in it. I felt very uncomfortable and was glad to leave this shambles of a restaurant. Avoid this cartoon like establishment

Nov 2017 - rated Tremendous. Venue 10. Food 10. Service 10. Excellent service from Lee! 1st visit and we love the place. 5 stars.Jan 2018 - rated OK. Unfortunately, our second visit was not as great. Staff shortage meant slower service and the food standard had dropped, disappointingly. A real shame. There's competition in that parade of restaurants so, if they want to retain/increase clientele, they really must up & maintain that originally exceptional standard. Here's hoping. 3 stars.

The staff were very nice which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. The food took an hour to get to us after order and we had to ask where our drink order was twice. 4 of us had a bad stomach after eating here. It's such a shame at the place itself is lovely and the staff are really friendly

Noisy, buzzy atmosphere. Interesting well cooked food. A bit different for Bedford and very welcome for that. Very busy on a wet early evening Saturday, so book. Fabulous location. Service slow (short staffed?).

Went here for lunch with my sister and really wished we had gone somewhere else. The spicy chicken enchiladas were bland and cold. The staff were rude and uninterested. Only good part of the meal was dessert. Will not be going back.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Personally had a good time here. Service was ok, burritos we had tasted fantastic, were presented well and served fast. Decor was also very nice and original. Will be returning

We went on Saturday following the official Riverside opening. We had 2 kids with us and our order was taken. We specifically asked for the food to be brought out together (we had ordered 2 starter dishes).. Our food was put on hold... no reason why. Then one of the kids drink failed to arrive... by which time he had almost finished his meal. Ours was about an hour to arrive. Then mix up with bill.. We were promised the manager Gareth would come and speak to us considering all the issues we had had. Despite reminders he failed to show his face. Never mind apologise. We were there for nearly 2 hours and only had main. Customer service extremely poor but with the management who said they were short staffed and manager was in kitchen . Out of courtesy he should have apologisedProbably our worst experience in a restaurant ever!!! And all in front of children. ! Will not be recommending.

Sadly the were closed on Monday when the website said it would be open until 11pm. We were turned away at 8.30pm. The food is similar to wahaca. The atmosphere is nice and the menu is well priced. I quite like eating here but would like to know why we were turned away so early.

Although when we first come into this restaurant, no one was on the reception and we had to wait for few minutes, but the customer service is alright.The restaurant has a beautiful location at Riverside Bedford. The decor is very nice. The cleanliness is perfect!The food is also nice and tasty. However, the tortillas in the quesadillas and in the Fajita main course were too much oily.Otherwise, Good experience and I would go to this restaurant for another try.
