Laser Station Xsite

Booked a kids birthday party here and albeit the kids loved the games it was very poorly planned and executed. We were told to arrive 15 minutes early and ensure all guests did too. We were left on a narrow balcony hanging around for the 15 minutes before being moved into the briefing room. In reality there was no need to be there early at all. We paid for a party host as part of the package but literally only seen her on arriving to take food orders, when we finished the games food was in boxes on the table with no cuttlery or sauces (had to go down and request them) and the 2 jugs of juice quickly finished so had to go down again to get refills. The kids were left for 30 minutes+ with food and absolutely no interaction or entertainment and given we were on a tiny balcony there was little that could be done to improvise entertainment. Even after the food was finished we never saw the party host. We had to chase the cake coming up 3 times and the same with the party bags. Overall you got 2 (10 minute) games in the laster station which were back to back with no chance for a rest or drink between then the rest of the time you were left to fend for your self. Not what I would call having a party host! Ideally if they had spaced out the games it would have at least given the kids a chance for a rest and drink and would have filled more time. The majority of the time we were there we were left to entertain 11 kids (mainly 7 year olds) on a narrow balcony with little room for movement. The party was said to last 75 minutes but only 20 minutes involved the games so for most of the time the kids were restrained and bored. We will not be back!

My boys had a lot of fun here. It was our first time here and we bought them three games each. I would of liked to see something instead of standing on a balcony waiting for them though.

Had my sons 9th birthday party at laser station xsite. Kids had a great time, staff and were amazing and went above and beyond and I would highly recommend. Party was great value for money and no headache for parents at all! Thank you.

I think Laser Quest is a great activity. But we had a negative experience of this site. They are not allowing enough time to introduce people to the game, in briefing and debriefing, obviously just trying to fit as many games into the day as possible.Taking a group of children who hadn't been before, they were rushed through a briefing video, and into a room where they were asked to put on their own kit. I thought they would be helped to feel the game as an adventure. Instead, children were still asking us to clarify how it all worked and how to operate the gun and change functions on it when the doors were opened and we were told the game had already started and we just needed to get on with it. While we were still trying to help children understand how it works, they lost time on the first game and had no idea where to go. Instead, they should have had an extra few minutes to get ready, then a couple of minutes to explore the room before the game was started.I thought they'd get a break between the two games, to take stock and help the whole experience take a bit longer. Instead, they just had to wait in the laser station a few minutes, and were going again for the next one.At the end of the 2nd game, we were then rushed out of the door. On the whole, customer care was poor. The children were left thinking that their experience was totally rushed.

Had my 10 Yr old's birthday party here last night & the kids all had an absolute ball. The party package is such good value for money, our party host Matthew was brilliant, he was great with the kids and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend & we will definately be back. Thank you for making his birthday special.

Party for 15 wild 8 year olds today and it went perfectly. Our party host William was a delight - totally organised, calm and collected in the face of 15 noisy, wild boys. Thank you so much William for making our wee boys party so much fun and also for keeping everything running like clockwork. Give that man a raise! Thank you.

Mixed emotions on this first time ever playing this game. So understanding the rules easy so off we go I'm pressing like hell but no hit's I even stood next to one and nothing, I did score points but far less than anyone I don't know if it's me or the equipment. I did enjoy playing against another team which was fun everyone enjoyed themselves.

Amazing place where we played with some very nice people.

This is one of our go to places at xsite if the weathers not great. Kids love it although I don't think they've been on the winning team once haha. Disabled access is great a wee lift next to the mini dodgems takes you up the next level and there's a disabled toilet upstairs aswell. £5.99 a skull.
