Came here for my daughters prom dress. Such an amazing choice of dresses...something for everyone and a lovely experience from start to finish. Proms were a new experience for us a couple of years ago so I was delighted to find VaVaVoom which focuses specifically on prom dresses for teens.We all went as a family and it was a lovely and memorable experience. We found a gorgeous dress that my eldest daughter felt confident in wearing (plus she looked stunning!) and the advice that Louise (the owner) gave us was terrific. She even helped us find a dressmaker who could make alterations.The idea of having a personal appointment made the experience very special - I am sure that as Louise is a parent of a teenage daughter herself has helped her understand her market.The fact that she keeps a record of the dress that you order means that you don't need to worry about someone else turning up to a prom with the dress that your daughter set her heart on.Two years later I found myself at VaVaVoom Boutique again - this time to purchase three prom dresses - one for my eldest for her leaving prom and one each for my twin daughters.I was delighted that the experience was the same - each girl had their own appointment and we selected dresses as individual as they are.Watch out on their Facebook Page for details of special offers and promotions - however the range of prices means that you can select a dress that will still look terrific even if you are on a limited budget.If you are in search of a prom dress and are based in the North Yorkshire or North of England, VaVaVoom is definitely top of the list of places to check out. Don't worry that the boutique is in a building that is a converted farm barn and looks like it is in the middle of the countryside. Your daughters prom is a special time in yours and her life, so why not make a day of it!

Lovely prom dress shopping experience. My daughter tried on loads of dresses, really helpful staff. Never felt pressurised to buy, or not to overrun our appointment slot. Gorgeous selection of dresses. Well recommended.

I went and bought my prom dress here and it was a really nice experience. It was a really friendly atmosphere and despite not being a girly girl I felt at ease here. As well there was a lovely selection of dresses and would recommend them to anyone.

Took my daughter & her grandma here on a prebooked appointment, recommended to us by someone else for prom dress shopping & have to say I would 100% recommended it to others, lovely little place & the owner & assistant dress fitter were amazing they were so friendly, & they really weren't just interested in sales they really did just want you to find the right dress & be happy with it,

If you are in Asheville or surrounding area, go by and browse their awesome selection.

Fantastic experience, better than we could have ever hoped for. Janet was so attentive and helpful and we have come away with the most stunning Prom dress for my daughter and without a Mother stressed to the high heavens! We had a wide range of dresses to choose from even though our school is one of the most frequent users of the service. Highly recommend this place.

At VaVaVooom the range of dresses was very good and they had many different styles and colour ranges etc. However, we had booked a morning appointment that are meant to last an hour, and as it was in the morning we were the only ones there. We were aware that another girl was going to arrive an hour after us, which is when my appointment ends, and that another colleague would be arriving at the same time meaning there would be 2 members of staff in the shop. It got to the last 15 minutes of the appointment and the girl arrived, which as they were early we expected that the woman would finish serving us then attend to the girl when it was time for her appointment, but that was not the case. The woman in the shop and her colleague completely left us in order to serve her for the rest of the 15 minuets, to the point where my mum was the one helping me with the dress. As all the help was focused on this early girl, we were just left stranded in the shop with no member of staff to help or talk to, even though our appointment was not finished. Needless to say me and my family were annoyed by this, therefore I just put my normal clothes back on. When my mum finally got to talk to her about the dress we were considering buying and all the details regarding the dress she started to be very short with us and sounded like she didn’t want to deal with us, therefore we left empty handed. I think for an appointment, the service with disgraceful on their part, and we should not have been pushed aside when the others were early. Would not recommend.
