Vagabond Barber

Neil has been cutting my hair over the past 7 years. Neil and the rest of the team are always welcoming and professional. A highlight this time: refreshing cold towel rather than the usual hot towel following the wash which was awesome in the heat wave. Recommended frequently to friends, I am never disappointed.

Paul is a highly skilled barber. I have known him for over 10 years now, i followed him from Chiswick to Richmond because there is no one that delivers the level of service quite like he does. He always gives 100%On a personal note I have found Paul to be a very kind and caring person. Earlier this year my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, before her chemotherapy treatment started she wanted to cut her off before she lost it.Paul kindly came to our homeWe are very grateful for his support.

I had a fabulous haircut with Shay Dhana today, a wash cut and style. She is a real expert and knew exactly how to make my hair look it’s best. I arrived looking disheveled and left feeling like I was walking onto a movie set. Perfect way to spend the afternoon. Friendly service too.

Went in and the owner saw me, I sat down to wait my turn. Another gentleman came in after me who apparently knew the owner. When the barber was finished with his client he then dealt to the other gentleman first and ignored me completely. Pretty basic courtesy went out the window. Waste of my time

I've been going to see Paul, the owner of Vagabond Barbers, for years now first when he was operating out of a different salon and now at Vagabond Barber shop which he opened just before lockdown. I go for a number of reasons, not least of which is his consistency, expertise and quality of haircut, paired with the fact that Paul is incredibly affable and easy to get on with. He always makes me feel welcome and comfortable as soon as I walk in the door, makes sure - even though I've been going for years - that he knows exactly what I'm after in case it's changed from the last time I was in. Finding a good dependable hairdresser can be a struggle and it's why I've continued to travel from Scotland and now East Sussex to Richmond to get my hair cut with him every few weeks. It's been great seeing him transform the space into his own, after operating out of other businesses previously and I can't recommend him and the salon enough.

Paul has been my hairdresser for more than 10 years. I don’t let anyone cut my hair (I have amazing hair to be honest) and I have followed him wherever he worked. Best barbers in town without question! Paul has been cutting my hair for over 5 years now - I first met him when he worked at Genco Richmond. I moved to Windsor 2 years ago but I still drive to Richmond to cut my hair. Paul is very likeable and highly skilled barber who always makes you look and feel good!!! When he opened his own business – Vagabond Barbers which is just up the street I followed him. I love the new place. Best of luck to you guys with the new business. Couldn't recommend Vagabonds highly enough if you're looking for a top barbers in Richmond!
