Disappointing, unfortunately. The buns themselves were no where near good enough in my opinion. Will try again in a few months.

If you want nice food with a side order of I hate working here and a smidge of doom and gloom come here!!!The food is really nice but the lass working behind the counter either hates her job or just hates everything and anyone. Not a single smile or acknowledgement of anyone's existence when ordering food.Just smile and actually acknowledge people placing orders rather than grunting and looking like your have just parents told you that you are adopted

Popped into Stacks for something to eat and after wandering around decided to try Bao Down. The plan was to try a few places so we got 2 bao buns and some fries. It was very quiet so the food was ready very quickly. The duck and the crispy prawn buns were both very good but would have been better with the prawn chopped up but I guess that's a presentation thing. Everything we tried was hot and delicious, would like to get back to try other offerings on the menu.

Waited ages for our food. Eventually went and asked and it had been sitting a while, apparently the notification system wasn't working. It was stone cold, so we asked them to warm it up. It was shoved in the microwave for 30 seconds. The katsu bao bun was 1 tiny bit of battered chicken with some Spring onions on top, no katsu sauce. It was over £10 for two buns (£9 plus the tip that gets added and the service charge). Won't go here again, very disappointing.
