No longer hire vans out! 2023Easy and efficient!If your unsure on the size of vehicle you need the staff are approachable for advise.I've hired a long base van and short base for different needs here and have always found the company reliable.Once the paper work is done in their office, very informal, we go and check around the vehicle to see if the check sheet matches up, a quick go over on the cockpit area incase your not aware of certain things! They're happy for you to leave your car there, at your own risk, mine was locked up on their lot with their vehicles and I never had any bother with it.I've recommended the company on to others looking to hire.

Bought a 2009 fiesta from here, the guy had a very clear understanding and interest in cars, he was really welcoming when finding out it would be my first car, the service was emaculate and straight forward, really recommend the place really genuine and good hearted people.

A very good selection of carefully chosen used cars. Straight after I bought a car here, one of the front suspension coil springs broke, and it was fixed under warranty in a couple of days, no questions asked. Excellent covid safety while viewing and test driving. Recommended.

Didnt advertise damage of a £3500 car that I arranged to view at over the phone and drove over 300 miles to view. Told me he would fix it after a deposit was paid... do I look green. Showed me his back room bodge body shop as if it would convince me. Not today mate. Should be clear with people before they set out to test drive your cars.

Bought a 2009 plate Peugeot 207 at the end of October. Nice clean car and in great condition for the year. Unfortunately, over the weekend I noticed a slight problem where I could hear some knocking therefore on Monday gave them a call. On Tuesday I took the car in to be diagnosed (bearing) and before Noon on Wednesday the part had been ordered and the repair done. All under their three month warranty for a 13yo car! I can only praise their friendly, fast and excellent service and it's this kind of thing that endears businesses to their customers. If ever I need a second hand car again, or know of someone who does, then I know where to go to get good value and piece of mind. It's easy enough to sell a car but looking after customers afterwards is also very important. Diolch yn fawr!

Bought a vauxhall corsa off this garage, car apparently passed mot, yet a year later with car only having done 2000 miles, due to son being at uni, it looks like this and needs a new sub frame...

Having used main dealers for my last few cars this garage was like a breath of fresh air. Tommy and Alan are how garages used to be, both top blokes, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about cars. Alas after buying, I had one minor problem that was quickly resolved and I had a courtesy car available next day! Without tempting fate it now runs like a dream. A great local business that deserves to flourish, well done to all. Thoroughly recommended.

I brought a very reliable reasonably priced car from Gallagher & Sons last year. It has taken me all over the UK and remains to be problem free. Yesterday I returned to Gallagher and Sons to complete an MOT & Service. They conducted both services in a professional and timely manner. I am happy to say my car has passed its MOT again! The whole experience has been straight forward and easy. It's not often you get an honest straight talking car salesman, but I assure you you will if you come to Gallagher & Sons. Highly recommend!

Recently bought a used car from GG Gallagher & Sons and what a delight!The customer care/service was spot on.....nothing too much trouble, the price was fair, and although there was a slight mark on the boot and bonnet from L plate stickers, this was agreed to be fixed.....and it was.I have had the car for 3 months now and it has been faultless.Would definitely buy from here againHighly recommended.Allan BMold
