Tenpin Birmingham Star City

Though the place is good for fun but there're issues which seems not being addressed. In my most recent visit (among 3 in last 6 months period):Most of the machines are dodgy (may be not taken care well), either does not respond even though looked operational or happily accept the money but do not do anything. One has no option to chase for the staff (hard to find to my all time experience) and not friendly at all and then keep justifying what you've been up to with that machine.Overall, an annoying last visit and would prefer to go elsewhere as it was not first time.

The place seems to have the potential to be an excited location, if the staff just communicate with each other.As we were purchasing tickets for a bowling session, another customer was served by another staff who gave the bowling alley way to another customer. Which the guy serving us was surprised at, and his colleagues response was You snooze you lose" - This in its self was I found to be weird kind of behaviour

took the 10 pound Thursday night experience.. comes with chips and burger.. friendly and helpful staff.. drink area took around 20 mins to get served though.. need extra staff or speed him up! otherwise great Evening out

Really busy on Saturday, had pre- booked tickets. Easy check in. There was a group finishing up in our assigned lane so had to wait 20-30 mins. Occasional errors with the lane which we needed to go to the front desk to re-set but didn't spoil the fun.

Very busy so well worth booking in advance. Plenty of lanes with lots of amusement games to play too. A game of bowling could be cheaper, also we were given a lane that was broken as the bumpers didn't work, staff came at confirmed this.

Extremely useless bar staff. They have no clue about their own drinks or offers. Cannot recommend anything. Even when you order they look at your face blankly as they have no idea.I asked for a cola based drink they said they don't do it. Then they served rum and coke to they guy behind me.My wife asked for coffee based drink,they said they don't do it. The menu has espresso martini.Just a hassle communicating with them. They need to be trained

Absolutely terrible place, one of the worst arcades I’ve ever been to. All the games are a scam and are impossible to win, the clown game for example 2 balls and a 15 second game time!!!!! That pound well spent for 4 or less throws. The space invaders is broken and you can’t reach the top half so die immediately. When there are much better arcades DO NOT GO HERE!

The worst experience at TENPIN BIRMINGHAM, we asked the person in charge to please fix the dance pad on the PUMP IT UP machine. However, the young lady only mentioned that she couldn't turn off the machine (You don't need to turn off the machine to fix 1 arrow). We are a large community of players looking to promote the sport, but unfortunately, the TENPIN staff has no interest in resolving minor issues that occur during the day.The same thing happened with the MARIOKART DELUXE game; the steering wheel doesn't work, and it's been 3 months, and they still haven't fixed it.The candy pots are half empty, and if you put your money in, nothing falls out. Scammers.It's a significant waste of money to come to this place and encounter staff who lack empathy for customers and prefer to chat and take selfies instead of helping customers.I don't recommend it.

It is a nice place but the staff is so unprofessional. I go there almost every week and most of the time when you need the staff their attitude is like not helping. Especially underage girls who have no idea what professional behaviour is. Also, most of the time there is no change in the machines and we have to run towards this untrained and unprofessional staff and ruin our whole mood.
