Waves Car Wash (Tesco Martlesham Extra)

I was charged £16 for a 'full' wash and wax. There were patches all over the car that hadn't been cleaned, and the alloy wheels were black. When I questioned this, they said they didn't have the chemicals to clean them. I will never be ripped off again.

Had our car washed at the Martlesham waves. Very disappointed . The front grill of the car had not seen any water and the passenger side window was still dirty. The sills had mud on and the door shuts had not been cleaned. For £14.00 we expected more. We have used the hand car wash at the Clacton on sea Waves and it was very good. Sadly will not be using Martlesham again.

Not the cheapest but provided a really good service and very happy with the outcome as my car looks brand new inside and out!!!!

This is their gold package. Waste of money.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESSI arrived at waves and was told my car was going to be 35 pounds and that it would take 45 minutes. Scheduled to be finished at 5.30pm the car wash closes at 6.30pm as all the signage clearly shows.I arrived back at my car at around 5.36. I also have a tescos receipt proving this and a fellow customer who assisted me. My car was unlocked and the waves station was completely shut.Tesco had to assist me to call someone to get my keys. My car was left unsecured in public with my keys locked away.When the waves representative (he told me he was the manager) finally arrived back 40 minutes later he immediately starting shouting at me saying he told me to back in 30 minutes which was not the case.The manager of Tesco supported me through this experience after waiting for that time with me he tried to explain to the manager how bad this situation was but he was certain he had done nothing wrong. I kept quiet as he was clearly unable to take any responsibility for the situation. However when he started demanding 45 pounds 10 pounds over the agreed price. I explained how inappropriate it was to ask for payment after the situation that had just occurred and leaving my car unsecured in a public area. I received no apology when I managed to speak to the franchise owner and the best that the franchise owner would do was fiver off telling me to listen and stop talking and that his manager had done nothing wrong and I should have returned to my vehicle.The manager then took over again and demanded I paid as I was told half 5 I refused to pay more than the original price. He then proceeded to take photos of me and my car and said that he was calling the police and that he was going to make my life hell and I wasn’t allowed back etc. the manager of Tesco had to tell him to move away from me and told the man to calm down. The manager at Tescos took pictures of the man taking pictures of me.The manager of Tesco’s explained tescos would pay as I had been treated so poorly it would reflect badly on Tescos. The man refused to take the money. The manager of Tescos has given me his contact details so I get in contact if I need to. I let the police know and they have spoken with the man and kept his details on file the policeman said he was unapologetic and still thought I was in the wrong. I have asked waves for a formal apology and more training but I have heard nothing I haven’t even had a curtsy call

Utter joke, have a price list on the door then fabricate some random price out of thin air anyway.Just wanted the cab of my van cleaned and they tried to charge me more than the price of their most expensive full in/out clean of a car and even then had to get the guy back because he missed the specific thing I asked him to clean.Genuinely surprised tesco has anything to do with them because they're taking the tax evading p1ss.

£25 for nothing the dust on the dashboard panel has not been cleaned they said they would clean the leather interior they hadn't even touched it. There is also dirt outside on the car you better clean your car yourself it will cost you 5 poundsand will be much better cleaned.

Update, as a desperate last resort I used this service last week, just got a basic but it was good and I was satisfied they had done a good job, I even left a tip. Hopefully this means the standards have improved.A bunch of cowboys. As other reviews mention I was quoted one price and then another on collection. The gold service left me with leaves still stuck under my wipers bits all over my car and no cleaning of the interior. It was the worst service I have ever used, I may as well have thrown £25 quid down the drain.

Massively over priced and just charge what they want. Don’t even clean your car properly. Absolutely disgusted.

Highly recommended. I use this excellent service regularly. The car is beautifully cleaned inside and out. The very rare occasion where there has been a snag, the team are always happy to remedy with no quibbles and great politeness. I wouldn’t go any where else.
