North Oxford canal
In a way, it's a shame this meandering canal was straightened in the 1930s. But it's still a pretty journey through the countryside. See if you can spot the old meanders.

Footpaths are not great. Not well maintained. Not may locks. Lots of straights rather than following the contours.

This canal runs from the outskirts of Coventry to Oxford. Not the prettiest of canals along it's northern section but it has some pleasant walks, wildlife and some good pubs.
