Quite possibly the best record shop in the UK that I have been to.Located in the small town of Ludlow. Mod Lang is a record collectors dream with a vast array of fantastic records to suit all budgets and caters for every genre of music .Paul is a wealth of knowledge on everything in regards to music and records and everything in the shop is perfectly laid out for easy browsing.Will be coming back to this shop every time I come back to the UK without a doubt.Easy and cheap parking also behind the shop in the Tesco Carpark.How I wish all record shops could be!

I go in every time I'm in Ludlow visiting relatives. Great store, vast selection, very fairly priced in some cases and beyond honest comments on condition. Yellow Brick Road (£10 for a double vinyl!) came with a caution on the quality, still miles better than records I had bought from other second hand shops when described as A+ condition. He knows what's out the back, what's out the front, my JJ Cale collection has grown considerably. I would highly recommend going in with a list as it is almost impossible to not get distracted. Lovely owner absolutely no pretension, will go back soon.

Fantastic store, excellent selection of high quality releases at good prices. Very helpful and friendly owner, absolutely recommend the place to anyone looking to add to a collection. The stairs leading to the store are rather steep, as an aside.

Now this is how to set out and run a record store. Just perfect in every way. Paul is a true gent and enthusiast, he has an amazing selection of vinyl for every budget and genre. It’s over a 300 mile round trip for me but I will be back as soon as I can. Just go you won’t be disappointed it’s one of the best stores I have ever visited.

I’m on holiday in Ludlow and when in Ludlow you MUST visit Modlang. A true record shop with Paul being so friendly and helpful, whether you spend or not. I love all of his stories of the people he has met. Visited twice in 3 days bought some real gems. Can’t say highly enough how good this shop is. Thanks Paul I will be back.

A Tardis of records! Amazing loft space with vinyl selection and posters punching far above its weight in Ludlow. Great mix of reasonable bargains and specialist records. The owner has incredible knowledge of stock availability and history of items we were searching for. Excellent find.

This record shop is a gem. Great selection, and the prices are very good. I bought a stack of pre-war blues LPs. Owner is friendly & helpful, doesn't pressure you. Well worth a visit!

What a glorious find hidden away in Ludlow. Paul has an Aladdin’s Cave of vinyl - a mooch through always seem to uncover some little gem. He’s always on hand to suggest Artists that you may not have considered, but may appeal to you . I’ve always found it a relaxing place to while away some time, especially on the very comfy chair.
