What a great team the guys are at the centre. They were so helpful to me today, I had to do 4 trips due to a house move and they were so friendly and helpful showing me where to put certain items and even taking them from me if they were heavy. A real credit to the recycling centre! Special credit to Pawel and the guy with long hair! Sorry didn’t get his name!

Thank you to the amazing Paul who helped me carry my car load of rubbish. So impressed that he was willing to help me as I was really struggling on my own with an old mattress and bags of rubbish. I have never been helped before. Amazing employee who is worth his weight in gold. Bless him.

To the amazing staff at Stourport Recycling Centre and the manager Andrew Timmins. I'm so happy you found my dressing gown in the recycling bin with both necklaces still in the pocket. I'm so very grateful and huge thanks for everything you did to make this possible. I'd have been devastated to have lost the necklace my son bought me as it was his first proper present bought with his own wages. Thanks so much and Happy New Year!

After my first visit I have to say it was simple to navigate and staff were polite and after I off loaded I parked up and discussed permits for my pickup very honest and helpful :)

Closing time is 1800 but if you arrive at 1750 they don't let you in...It's not flexi time to close when you want regardless of how busy they are.The time is there for a reason, if they want to be done at 1800 they should close the gates at 1730 to clear upLikewise if they were quiet at 1400, would they close at 1400?Peace.Karen. I agree access is easy to the skips but in the last 5 visits made last week and this week I had no offers of help from the people working there. One day there was no one at all up the top. Next day 2 operatives well hidden in the little hut with opaque windows. 3rd day one person but was busy helping someone else which was OK. The only offer of help came from a gentleman member of the public. It used to be offers of help every time I went. What has changed. I am a 72 year old lady on her own. Disappointed.

You can buy compost for £2 a bag thats been recycled at the centre. Rubbish is easy to offload into the skips now without going up stairs so it's much safer for the public. Staff are always available, helpful & friendly too so our family always prefer to use stourport recycling centre
