Really fun place but there are a few changes that would really help the place. The music is ultra loud everywhere so you can't chat and where a game has useful audio, you've got no chance!!Have a loud dancy area, that's fun in it's own right. But make it just a bit quieter in other area.They also seem chronically understaffed. Surely long bar queues, broken glass on the floors and empties on every surface are not good for business?!

If you're looking for a different kind of group night out the definitely consider this venue!The have a raft of various arcade games and some physical ones too (such as basketball). Theres a lot of choice to create multiple, competitive challenges between work colleagues or friends.In addition, you can hire out your own karaoke room. We did that for 2 hours. Whether you're good at singing or not, you can perform" in the safety of your own area

Edited to provide further feedback: this was 4 stars out of 5 as whilst I liked the place, on a Saturday afternoon in Christmas season there was just one person serving, and at one point it was over 5 minutes wait at the bar for him to come to the bar. During that time a small party of three arrived, waited to be served and left before anyone was at the bar to take a drinks order. There was nothing to suggest that this was an anomoly and whether service would always be this poor.Otherwise, the drinks selection was good, other than the chips it was well priced, and there was a fair selection of arcade machines plus the consoles.

They had a really good range of beers along with some classic arcade games (including my favourite Street Fighter 2). Apparently they will be introducing a lot more games over the next few days so will definitely revisit to see. Great addition to Merrion St!!

Booked a large group (9) for kareoke in Christmas season. Leeds has long been lacking decent kareoke places, and I was really impressed with this place. The kareoke rooms are big, private, well decorated (if a bit dark!) with a big table, lots of chairs and room for a little dance, and completely soundproof.The kareoke itself is done via ipad touchscreen and pretty much every song we wanted was available. You can queue up songs, attribute song choices to named people, and choose them with or without including vocals. The TV screens they displayed on were large too.You can also order food and drink directly to the room from another touchscreen which was a great touch.The staff we met were also all really brilliant (despite sometimes walking in on us screaming to emo and nu metal hits) and helpful. We booked 2 hours but ended up paying to stay for a third and will definitely be back.

I really like the concept of having arcade games in a bar. Although, unless the place is pretty much dead, there often aren't enough machines for people to use, and they get hogged by the same group of people. I'd like more variety in the games too. Would also like to see more non-alcoholic drink options.

Overall I like this place. Nice atmosphere and good layout. I've not tried the karaoke yet either but have popped my head in and it looks great. The problem is that pretty much 30% of the machines are broken. The downstairs area is all broken. Quick list:Hopping machine - brokenDance machine - workingAir hockey - working but paddles broken as the underside has been ripped off.Guitar hero - brokenHouse of the dead - broken2 arcade cabinets - one broken, one working.Overall its just not ideal. They need to really fix them asap as it kind of ruins the experience. I go there with friends so a lot of these are the games we want to play together.The other point is that some of the games are abit pricey when you work it out. £6 for 8 coins means that every coin is 75p. Some of the games are 2 coins each for a 3 min game - a bit pricey when you factor in drinks as well.Suggestion - fix the games, get more variety, do some sort of deals (happy hour on tokens, drinks + tokens etc)

Awesome start to the day we had the whole place to ourselves. Grown up kids for a few hours whilst playing crazy pool, air hockey, table football and more. Good selection of beer on tap and lovely service from all the staff! Great little find and will be returning to one’s closer to home!
