National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Micheal and David were great today. Micheal was friendly and helpful in getting me booked in on the same day, and answered all of my questions regarding the process. David was a star, and cracked on and got to work on my car as soon as it entered the shop floor, he really is a credit to your team.Micheal helped me when paying for my wheel balancing by explaining I could claim £5 off my purchase by signing up to the Halfords motoring club, I did so, and was pleasantly surprised to be £5 richer today.Cheers guys, I will be back and use national tyres Paignton again.

Please ignore Brett Potters review. He was not a customer but a contractor working for me a neighbour and was angry that he was not allowed to park in their private yard. The staff have always been polite and helpful to me. I am so sorry he was so rude to them.

Very poor service. A couple of months ago I asked someone to just check my tyres and this was an impossible task and they wouldn’t do it. A two minute job which I requested before my upcoming mot. Today I had a puncture on route to Paignton and managed to get car to nearest tyre co.- National. Again car there wouldn’t do it as they only had two people working on a Saturday. On both occasions took car then to AMS, who despite having to wait 15 mins, sorted my tyres on both occasions.! Will never go to National tyres again who clearly are inefficient

Terrible place, avoid at all costs! Didn’t even changed the engine oil. Also ripped off on brake pads and discs. Even put the 2x cheaper brake discs, and price was the same. Raised a dispute to Trading Standarts. Totally Waste of money and time. And they don’t even want to communicate to solve the problem.

Professional and efficient service for purchase, fitting & balancing two new front tyres. 3rd time customer at this branch. Very happy. Recommended.

Worst place ever...Will never ever use..asked the guy to check out my tyre to see what it needed...he told me it would be a 3 hour wait..just for him to look at it which was just 10 yards away from him..also insulted me by telling me it will cost money for him to look at it.. well l know its a bissness and not a chairty. I drove 4 miles to get there worried about the tyre...he was more interested in his phone. No other customers there or even work men..and no wonder with his attitude..its a shame cos you can see that place isn't going to last long...horrible horrible man. Hate leaving a bad review but seriously this place is a waste of time and effort..avoid and go to a real bissness. Used there company in Newton abbot a few weeks ago..and what a difference..newton abbot was brilliant, very professional and lovely manners. National tyres need to send a scret shopper into paighton just so they can see how bad it really is. I don't even want to leave one star.

Very helpful, professional, and got my car back on the road. Great customer service both phone and in person, really felt valued and supported. This is the second time I’ve used this garage. Cheers guys!

Awful I will never set foot in any National Tyres location again,took my car in for puncture and was told there were 2 punctures one was not repairable and was quoted for new tyre when I checked on National tyres own website the tyre was £30 cheaper than they were quoting so took car away and had tyre checked at another tyre company who assured me there was only 1 puncture and repaired it while I waited,1week on tyre still fine I raised a complaint and got mail stating they would contact me in 48 hours that was a week ago and heard nothing since so it looks like Halfords/national tyres really do not care months later stil not heard back from halfords they really don't care

Completely destroyed by Halfords :(Cannot phone local branch now to make a booking or to get a price. I have been a customer here for over 15 years....not any more.Nobody likes or wants recorded messages and options and national call centres. AMS see you tomorrow.
