Disappointed with recent visit. This is a tremendous asset to the community yet it appears to suffer from lack of local support. Rather run down compared to previous visits, ,shortage of lifeguards which meant a part of the pool had to be laned off. Very nice staff and nice cup of tea. Hope those fantastic volunteers that run it will get more real support from the area.

awful. first time visiting and never again. pool is run down, water is green, flies and dirt everywhere, pool floor and walls are mouldy and everything is a no. no slide, no heating, no nothing. very disappointing. only one shower, and that is full of mould. not worth the price. looks worn down even from the outside. changing rooms are filthy. do not go here

Amazing day out with the family at this pool, well worth the drive.Amazing staff who are helpful and kind.Theere is a small cafe with real coffee and very tasty homemade bakes, with a great selection of other sweets too.Get there early on sunny days to make sure you get into the pool as it fills up fast

Visited with my 2 children, 2-4pm.The day was sunny, the pool was a lovely welcome!Parking could be limited outside the pool as it is used for people to access the nearby park and the ford. Arrive in good time if you want to park outside the pool!!The pool itself, for its age, was nice. The reports of ‘green water’ are probably because the pool doesn’t have blue tiles at the bottom, instead, it looked like painted concrete which was showing it’s age. The water itself looked clean though. Lifeguards on-site at all times. A little shop serving crisps, sweets, tea/coffee. It was just like being on holiday with chairs and sun loungers around the pool.Changing facilities are as expected for the age - but well maintained and quite clean.Cubicles/baby change room and a shower with toilet facilities. Lockers on-site for 20p, which I didn’t use as I had my bag near the pool.Kids loved it.Unfortunately for me, a family of rude ‘knackers’ spoilt part of my enjoyment this time, but that’s no fault of the pool’s.I would return :)

Great charity ran pool, it's large enough for laps, kids loved the shallow end and was heated to perfection. It was raining when we were there so the pool was deserted. It does have a sauna but you'll need to ring up as it's heated by a log burner and takes a few hours to warm up.

Amazing little place, run by lovely people. Just the booking system is abysmal, got a confirmation code, but no email, and no response to emails or calls. Keep trying to book and only a few dates available, try to book one and says certain tickets are sold out after you've added. Logged in to site and only gives for last month...just a never ending circle. Really wanting to go again.

Our first time here, but not the last. Water was very warm, the staff friendly and there's a small cafe. The sun was out.A perfect way to spend a couple of hours.

Dirty and grotty ladies changing rooms. Tired old equipment and murky water. Spectators pay £3 each (no concessions for disabled or pensioners) to sit on a broken plastic chair, that is if they are lucky enough to get one. Family swim £10.50, we stayed 30 minutes. I’m actually disgusted, took a few snaps..

Wonderful outdoor pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a little cafe by the pool so you can get a brew and a snack after having a swim. The only criticism I would level is that the pool is looking a little dated and could do with a little tlc, but I'm guessing that would require funding that is sorely lacking these days for brilliant facilities for this. Don't let it put you off going for a swim!!
