Been on a diet since the new year so this was a big event! And it did not disappoint.Friend chicken was juicy and crisp but not greasy in the slightest.We went for the original coating and had the curry rice on one of our meals(rice was gorgeous)Thought it was really reasonably priced for the amount of food you gotWas very fresh. Excited to go back and sit in when we can!Request to bring to the menu some sort of gravy sauceOnly downsize would be it managed to loose warmth on the 10 minute drive home, difficult with these times.. but maybe better insulated packaging needed.We will return ️

It's one of my favourite cafes in Hove. There are many simple and cost-reasonable menus, so it's good for a meal! Especially, all bubbles tea is Dairy-free, so it's better. The garden is pretty.

Not tried the chicken yet but this branch also has a bubble tea place serving vegan oat milk tea in reusable containers (you have to pay a small deposit) - think it's a great idea and my brown sugar oat milk tea was lovely. Glad to finally see Hove get Bubble Tea!

Noticed on my way to work and decided to try it one lunch break. Literally the best katsu curry I’ve ever had!!! Ordered to takeaway but wound up eating in because it was served so fast I had time, the lady who served me was lovely and they were very reasonably priced! I’ll have to come back more often :) - they also offer a free drink if you leave a review but I genuinely enjoyed this food and so I won’t claim it :)

So most of the time, I get the food from this place delivered to my house, but I thought today to check them out and how it is.Cha & Tea with CHIKiNI left a really good impression on me and my friends when eating there. The food was on point as always, and the back garden was a really lovely vibe for a gathering with friends!This place has a really cosy, chilled vibe with a really lovely welcome from the person on the service point. Always polite and cheerful when serving.I would really commend this place to someone who just wants a really nice place to chill and have some good eats!

The food was really good, I had the vegan bbq Chikini set which comes with 3 wings, a drumstick, a thigh piece and fries. The server was friendly too.

I’m really disappointed, I ordered the chikini set and the drumstick was pink all the way through. All chicken pieces tasted like they had fallen in the charcoal, so I essentially paid for a big box of average chips. Weekly takeaway ruined.

Finally I was able to visit Chikini's new branch.Lovely flavorful chicken. Was not that hot when I ate it but no biggie as I was famished and I wanted to have it right away.It was quiet when we arrived and it is situated across tesco also by the road (easy to spot)Place had the clean cafe vibes and at the back was where you could dine in and have your chicken.

Lovely staff and seemed very cute but they don’t actually serve bubble tea.Their fruit bobba is just juice with pearls in it - no tea at all, no soda, no ice - just a bit of syrup which makes it ridiculously sweet and is not nice at all.They guy serving it seemed very apologetic but unless you want milk tea really don’t bother. Just get a juice carton.

The food quality has reduced from what it was when it was at Kemptown. Whenever I order, I usually go for spicy because I like pepper. But now when ever I order spicy option, it doesn’t taste hot, it’s like if the only spicy option you have is the original, then why bother with the other options. Although the food is quite affordable, I don’t think it is worth it, if I can’t have what I want.
