We had a brilliant evening meal here and it’s certainly one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a while. We were seated right at the back of the restaurant, tucked round a corner, which initially felt a little cut off and didn’t have the same level of decor and atmosphere as the rest of the restaurant, but the service didn’t suffer at all and once the adjacent tables were occupied it was fine. The waitress was really friendly and very proactive throughout the visit, with no need to wait for drink top ups plus she was knowledgeable enough about the menu to offer advice when we were ordering the food.The food menu is extensive but does specialise in more authentic dishes than the usual items you’d be familiar with across British Indian restaurants. If this is worrisome don’t fear - the kitchen is willing to make dishes not listed too so most people should be happy. The drinks menu is equally large and prices for even the wines and champagne are very reasonable. The food arrived in good time with superb presentation and brilliant flavours.The tandoori sharing starter was incredible, with huge prawns and succulent very tasty meat. The size was great as a sharer and beat anything I’ve had in an India restaurant in the UK before. The king prawn biryani was a lot larger than it initially looked with good spice levels and plenty of prawns. The standard rice sides were a good size although the naan was perhaps a little disappointing compared to the quality of the rest of the food dishes - it was smaller and thinner than anticipated and flavour just wasn’t quite on par.Overall it was a brilliant experience and I’ll certainly be returning again when looking for an Indian in the town; highly recommended!

Absolutely top draw from the minute we walked in to the minute we left, the team, the kitchen, everyone brilliant!The prawns were more like lobsters, the food was flawless and super delicious.Honestly the best dinner out I’ve had in a very long time. Well done and thank you team SC.

Absolutely incredible food. Never had true north Indian food like this in the UK. Fantastic service by Akash who recommended dishes and had a lovely chat with us. Can't wait to go back!

Cosy interior. Great service with very attentive staff. Food was amazing…especially the mixed starter. Butter chicken was exactly what you would expect from a proper Indian restaurant. Naan was thick, soft and fluffy. I asked for a sprinkle of masala on the chips and it made all the difference. Overall a great experience and great value for money.

We had the most delicious food at Spice Culture, it was so authentic and the whole aura of the restaurant was amazing! The staff were so helpful which made our experience 10x better.

I love the whole vibe of the restaurant! The staffs were warm and approached us with a smile. We ordered 2 Briyanis: one with jackfruit and paneer other one with chicken, love those soft paneer and onion toppings and everything taste superb! The Bhaji has full of flavor too and the Chicken Lollipops were surprisingly juicy because we first thought that is is just plain fried turns out it was better than expected. We also enjoyed the Poppadoms with mango chutney and salad, finished it within few minutes. We also ordered Gulad Jamun, a must try. It was worth an extra calorie! Kudos to the whole staff who served us really well, you can see them serving other guests the same way too. We were served well by Sky and it was a good experience. I recommended Spice Culture to my friends right away after the visit and I will definitely coming back soon too!

Best Indian food we've ever had. Really flavoursome, just the right amount of heat, not too salty, portion sizes just right. Really fast service. Very popular so you do need to book.

Visited here a few months ago with friends for the first time. The food was outstanding. My highlights were the Chooza, chicken 65, lamb ghost - I can't remember the rest of the names, but everything was lovely. I had the yellow submarine cocktail, I couldn't really taste the banana which was disappointing.
