Arran Deliveries - Arran

After promising to deliver our new fridge upright, it arrived on its side. They picked it up ok, with the correct sort of tail lift etc. but when it got to the island, the delivery guys moved it to a different vehicle and lay it on its side as they've admitted to doing countless times before, then advising us to just leave it upright for two hours before turning it on. A local engineer and what I could see on the internet advised transporting fridges upright but if ever on its side, leave the fridge to stand at least 24 hours. We left it 36 hours and did find it to be fine in the end.We have a van and could have picked it up ourselves if we wanted to lay the fridge on its side. We paid for a service we didn't get.
