My grandma and I visited Claremont Teahouse for the first time since it took over Quilliams and we loved it! We sat in a nice little corner away from everyone else and it had a big window to look out of - one of the things I love about the building. There were a wide range of teas to choose from - I tried a fruit tea. It was very lovely and sweet. My grandma had a quiche and I had a posh fish finger sandwich. We both enjoyed our food. The waitress was lovely and didn’t mind helping us with any questions we had! Will definitely return.

Lovely place with some great ideas, we visited on the first day of it opening, it was busy but the waitress saved us a table. The food was good and well presented the range of tea was amazing also the egg timer was a nice little touch.The only thing we found is that our order was wrong but we just put this down to teething problems

best oat latte i’ve ever had… the bagel was amazing too! lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. will definitely come back again ❤️

Can never go wrong with a dot bagel! The cake was also excellent and my mother thought the tea selection was fantastic but disappointed they weren’t served in bigger mugs. Service was a little rushed and unfriendly but it is a very busy location

Recently reopened as Claremont Teahouse.Positives:Staff are pleasantFood is greatTea selection wide and variedLocation is well suited for shoppingNegatives:Really poor service - like really poor. I've been several times, and not once has anyone had the correct order. So much so that we've decided not to go for the next month or two and hope that it improves.Partially as a result of slow and incorrect orders the teahouse is always busy and I've saw people decide to leave before being seated and/or served due to the waits incurred.

1.30 Wednesday afternoon. We came in to have a tea and snack in this nice looking and vibrant place. Assam tea was good, I heard, but my Earl Gray had two separate tastes - strong tea bitter one and other - artificial cheap cologne citrusy flavour. One on a side of the other.After 40 minutes waiting for two simple sandwiches we decided to leave, Claremont Teahouse forced us to have a nibble in McDonald's.Waste of time.

Lovely place, service and atmosphere.Love my French toast with banana. My friend vegan pancakes were a bit hard.Excellent coffee!

Loved it, lots of choice for breakfast brunch or just a snack. Huge list of teas available. Highly recommend the salt on chilli road bagel absolutely delicious.

Amazing coffee and food, plus great atmosphere and service. Super friendly staff despite how busy it is. Can't hold how busy it is against them when they've only just opened and they haven't opened downstairs yet.

Food and drinks were great. We only cakes, but the food looked marvellous. The cafe / restaurant was busy, most tables were taken. Service was a little slow due to how busy they were. I am glad that we visited and highly recommend a visit.
