Pontefract Marlins Swimming Club
My daughter has been a member here for almost 4 years minus the COVID gap and I am so pleased with how she and the club themselves have progressed over the last year or so. It's a fantastic 'no pressure' atmosphere, with a friendly helpful team who are all volunteers and some parents of swimmers who give their time to develop the children's swimming technique and stamina. There is plenty of opportunity to compete locally if you want to, although there is no pressure to do so, you just need to ask for details. A great follow on for those little fishes with a desire to continue on after lessons.

Brilliant swimming club with lots of potential. The coaches are great and are willing to help push the young swimmers to be the best that they can be. The swimmers are great and kind and willing to help with the younger swimmers of the club. Great friendly atmosphere.

My son goes here and loves it, the coaches are all so supportive and help my son to be the best he can be. The club is friendly and it is for both competitive and non competitive swimmers. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic swimming club. Great opportunities for swimmers to learn and improve the different swimming strokes . Also opportunity to take part in competitive galas. Lovely set of friendly people and well run club at reasonable cost.

My Son joined Pontefract Marlins only a year ago. The team have all been very welcoming)) Very experienced Coach team, they struck a good balance between providing structure/technique and relaxed activities. Admin Lady is very friendly and supportive. Moving my teenage son club after he spent 10 years swimming for another club wasn’t an easy decision, but he has nailed it and this is a huge credit to the Pontefract Marlins Team))Also I would like to mention that membership cost is very reasonable and affordable for any family.

A fantastic swimming club, the coaches are amazing & get the best out of all the swimmers. My son has been a member for nearly 7 years & loves it. The club is run by a brilliant team of volunteers who are always friendly & want the best for every swimmer. Swimmers can choose to compete in galas or just swim because they enjoy it.

Pontefract Marlins Swimming Club
The club has been great for my teenage son, building his confidence and resilience. Also great for his fitness and making friends post covid. Staff are always willing to help and answer any queries. It's a great group of swimmers who are accepting and supporting of all their peers. Highly recommended.
