Similar experience to another review on here by Alex. Most of the staf are friendly although one of the recruiters i dealt with was quite condencending and dismissive in the initial process and after the fact. Also had;1 set of results not processed in time.Invited for a second blood test only to another call to not come after i'd taken time off work1 study cancelled with days to go.1 study not selected because they tested too late, but not informed until I had to call up the day before to check on what was going on.Payments are late and there's a dismissiveness about processing them. Every trial I've done with other organisations that does BACS payments. they get processed on the day your payment is due, with this organisation it's in the air as to when your payment will go through (BACS are immediate dspite what many companies will say).Do take these into account if you want to apply for fortrea.

You never knows when you get your money form these guys. It's apparently BACS but clearly not because apparently it takes however long to clear which, I work for a bank, is not true.On the recruitment side of things, things could be clearer, more efficient and better communication wise. Shambles in documentation. Nothing was emailed despite promises of it happening. Information i found was hard to get. Otheriwse they're fine humans doing their best.On the trial itself nurses are lovely, facilities are great, food leaves a little to be desired portion wise, but otherwise everything else is good.

Worst experience ever, waited the longest time to hear nothing from them and then hear that I wasn't selected after I called because the GP didn't send them the information in time, if they would have informed me Immediately I could have asked the information myself. My friend has had a similar experience with them, please avoid and use MAC clinical trials instead as they are amazing and truly care for their volunteers.

The staff are friendly & polite, but the company itself are one of the most disorganised organisations I have ever dealt with. You might not be accepted on a study for various reasons & everyone understands that, but from 4 applications:1 set of results not processed in time.1 study cancelled with days to go.1 study delayed because the study disclosure facts (the potential risks & side effects, the dosage received, critical information on the actual medication etc), hadn’t been completed so couldn’t be given to test subjects.Same study delayed a 2nd time because the study disclosure facts STILL hadn’t been completed.Above study then cancelled with short notice.1 study not selected for, but not informed until I contacted them 3 days before the study date … apparently they had only just been advised of the selected participants ….Like I say, you accept that you might not be accepted on a study for various reasons & that these are there to protect people, but it is very worrying that they leave it until the 11th hour to realise that they don’t have all the necessary information on what might happen & the risks & side effects etc. or to confirm any vital facts - you would have hoped that that information would be known about & checked before even thinking of letting someone test it, but it would appear not … never had these issues or leaving finding out the full disclosure information from any other organisation that does these tests, but it is worrying & incredibly discouraging that it seems to only happen at Fortrea …If you are considering going there, please bear the above in mind; Hopefully everything will go ok & no corners are being cut in the drug research, or important tests or details left until the last minute to be confirmed & none of the test subjects are seriously affected or impacted because of this, but if study’s are being cancelled with short notice, or participants only notified with short notice, that is for a reason - & with all the development already invested by the testing stage, it seems that reason is less likely to be a financial one, than the discovery of a risk to the test subjects; either previously suspected & confirmed, only discovered at the last minute, or a work around which has only just been worked out …
