Energy Therapy With WendyB

Wendy was recommended to me by a friend, to provide some Animal Reiki and Pet Sitting for our Great Dane/Staffy cross 4.5 year old dog Rosie. Rosie suffers from severe separation anxiety, brought on when myself and my daughter visited family in Australia for 3 weeks. Rosie had a terrible start in life, came to us at just 7 weeks old, was malnourished, was the runt of the litter, caged in a small cage with 11 siblings. She is absolutely adorable, but has some behavioural issues as well as not being able to leave her on her own, barks frenzied if she sees dogs or some people walking past the house, or when anybody comes to door.Wendy came to see Rosie and after about 45 minutes of Animal Reiki treatment, Rosie was calm and fell asleep. During the treatment I was fascinated to see that Rosie turned her body around so Wendy was able to work on different areas. Rosie was very excited to see Wendy for her further treatments, and each time she responded well to the treatment allowing Wendy to help her relax and settle quicker each time.Rosie is SO much more responsive to us to calm her down when she barks now, previously she would just bark over us trying to calm her down, but now she responds to us telling her it’s okay, and she can lay back down. When we take her in the car, she seems to be less ‘on edge’ – previously she would never settle down, but sit up and be alert, no matter how far we went, but in two recent trips to York she has laid down now for part of the journey.Wendy is also our top 'go to' person for Rosie sitting, and when we tell Rosie that Wendy is coming, she rushes to the door to greet her, and her tail wags at around 100mph! When we leave, Rosie is totally happy and doesn't even look up, she's well into cuddling Wendy by then. Knowing that Rosie is being looked after by Wendy means we can enjoy our time out, and not worry - apparently after cuddling Rosie usually curls up and sleeps as she's so content.Thank you Wendy for looking after Rosie with both the Animal Reiki and pet sitting.
