My washing machine had been rocking so much furniture on walls and radiators upstairs were rattling. I had tried to level the washing machine which never worked as the floor was really uneven.We'd asked Faben to come in and screen the floor under the machine. He had a look and suggested a much easier fix. He took the old irrelevant laminate off which revealed the floorboards were level and after a lot of fiddling around managed to not only get the washing machine level and spinning without shaking the house, but also allowed my dishwasher to open fully (it didn't open before).He was really friendly, cleaned up afterwards too. I'd recommend High Peak Home Improvement for any home improvement/refurbishment work.

Faben fitted us in at short notice for a single days work removing a window seat, making good, and also repairing and levelling some kitchen flooring under the cooker. The work was great, Faben was reliable and responsive and we are very happy with the results. We would definitely use him again.

This has been a big project to take on - I wanted nearly every room in my house painting (walls and woodwork/doors), the fencing and artificial grass in my back garden replacing, and the stone flags in the back garden levelling and re-laying. Faben has done an excellent job with the painting and has worked tirelessly to make sure everything is perfect. We ran into a few issues with the bathroom paint and gloss on the doors, but Faben has come up with a solution to every problem, even working extra hours at no extra cost to put things right for me. Where he has not been able to do the work for me, he has quickly sourced someone who could help (electrician, builder). The fencing was replaced very quickly and, whilst the rest of the work to the garden is ongoing, I am positive I will be pleased with the results. Faben has been great throughout the who time he has been working at my house - friendly, polite, professional, extremely hard working, and a good head for ideas/problem solving. I would wholeheartedly recommend High Peak Home Improvements and would not hesitate to use Faben again in the future!

Faben came round the same day that I called for a quote. The job was small so he did it immediately rather than come back another day. He was polite, efficient and wanted to clean up afterwards. I was very impressed and would definitely use this company again.
