Been using this garage for routine servicing and a recent large repair (fortunately covered under extended warranty) and have to say that I am very, very impressed. Not only with the level of service provided, but the friendly,, straightforward, no-nonsense approach to looking after my Land Rover. They do what is needed, not what is not, the pricing is highly competitive, and the work carried out is thorough and precise.I will no longer use a Main Dealer, not because of the exorbitant cost so much, but because these guys know the vehicle better than any posh Main Dealer technician does. It's good old fashioned service from start to finish, and my only regret is not finding them several years earlier, and giving my hard-earned to aforementioned somewhat useless Main Dealer(s)! 5/5 - highly recommended.

I've used this garage for 6 years and have always been very satisfied with the quality of their repairs and servicing. They recently sprayed my Defender chassis with Lanoguard, and I was very pleased with the result.

Went down to them and enquired about a service and tune… nothing for August!! And didn’t find them very sympathetic, more like dead squid!

Bought a Defender from them in January, lovely car still running well and very pleased with the deal, Neil included alot of preventive maintenance work in the deal. Was worth the 3 hour drive each way to find such a good example from an honest and knowledgeable dealer, highly recommended

Very helpful team, they booked me in quickly to find what the problem was with the engine/exhaust sensors. Found the problem and ordered the specialist parts straight away and fixed the car the next day. The main dealer I used to use couldn't see the car for a month, despite the warning lights, so the service from E H Douglas was brilliant and just what I needed.

Ended up taking my newly purchased Freelander 2 here to have several lots of warranty work done. From the initial conversation with Neil I can't fault the service I received throughout the whole process. They dealt with the supplying garage who the warranty was with and leant me a car while the work was done on mine. All very hassle free. Will take it to them in the future for servicing and repairs...

I have been dealing with Neil at EH Douglas since buying my first Land Rover from them some 17 years ago. EH Douglas have now looked after several Land Rovers I've owned ranging from a 1983 Series 3, to a 2010 Range Rover TDV8 and quite a few in between. They are friendly, trustworthy, have helped me out and gone the extra mile on numerous occasions, including a couple of times when they have travelled to a broken down vehicle to get me going again. I have recommended them to several friends and family members over the years who now only use them for both vehicle servicing and sales. Their workshop and parts department is amazing and they always have some interesting and desirable vehicles in stock. Always happy to source a car as well if you are after something specific. If every garage was like this, motoring would be far more pleasurable. If you are currently using a franchise or are looking for someone who really cares to look after your LR, give them a try.
