It is bigger on the inside than it appears. A good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the lanes. This has a cool Alice in wonderland theme and plenty of space. Their are some nice benches outside too. This place does film nights and has a lot of community stuff going on. The food was tasty...a tad expensive but enjoyable none the less. They have a taco of the day and some some boozy hot chocolate. A good space if you need somewhere roomy and quiet.

I feel compelled to write this review about my terrible experience at The White Rabbit last Saturday, 17 July 2023. My friends and I had planned to celebrate our 20-year graduation anniversary at this pub, but it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I had made a reservation early last week, clearly mentioning that one person in our group had a shellfish allergy, and another person required a gluten-free option. To our dismay, when the person who needed a gluten-free meal attempted to place their order, they were informed that there was no gluten-free option available. This lack of accommodation was disappointing, but it paled in comparison to the treatment received by the person with the shellfish allergy, who also happened to be a carrier of an Epipen. When this individual tried to order, the chef refused to serve them, stating that the kitchen is used by the landlord who cooks shellfish. This is an appalling disregard for the safety and well-being of customers with allergies. What infuriates me even more is that we had explicitly informed the pub about the reservation and received a confirmation the day before our arrival in Brighton. It is deeply frustrating and reflects a high level of unprofessionalism on the part of The White Rabbit. In all our years of dining out, both in the UK and abroad, we have never encountered such discrimination or negligence. It is astonishing to witness a venue that fails to cater to its customers' needs, especially when they are fully aware of dietary restrictions and allergies in advance. As a result of this unacceptable treatment, we were forced to find an alternative place to eat, further inconveniencing our plans for the evening.I strongly urge everyone to steer clear of this awful pub, as they clearly do not prioritize their customers' well-being or bother to meet their dietary requirements. The White Rabbit's complete lack of consideration and failure to provide a safe dining experience demonstrates their disregard for basic customer service. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by choosing a different establishment that values and respects its patrons.

Most incredible vegan roast. Best roast I have ever had! The oyster mushroom pork belly was to die for.. crispy roast potatoes and delicious veg and gravy! Only giving a 4 as waited over an hour for food. Never told of any wait time. Shame as the staff were brilliant and super friendly. Also dog friendly a big bonus. Would recommend big time for the food, rest of menu looked amazing!

Do not come here for a Sunday roast! We was told the wait was 50 minutes, which was ok, so we waited until 1 hour 15 minutes to ask when our order was coming. They said it would be 10 minutes. At 1 hour 40 minutes they came up to our table (was only two of us bear in mind), to tell us they had no idea when our food was coming. So it could have been another 30-60 minutes. That’s over 2 hours for food. We left and had to go somewhere else Awful service.

Great bar with some excellent choices of alcohol away from the mainstream brewery stuff you usually get in pubs. The only thing I would mention is it's not cheap to drink in here but I would still go again as it's a great pub.

Nice cozy funky little pub with a wood fire. Good choice of gin and beers. Food looked good but we didn't eat here. Arcade games for both 1 and 2 players. Would visit again.

Great food and stuff. We visited here on Halloween weekend for drinks and food before heading off to see a gig. It was busy as normal. There's extra booths out the back. Managed to find a seat and ordered a banging vegan burger which came quickly and was proper tasty. Have been here several times before and will definitely vist several times again.

Super nice spot for a pop in drink, service with a smile. Place to sit out back or right in the heart of the lanes!!
