Picture perfect! Richmond is known for its Bridge, walks and parks. Exploring the riverside route (Richmond side of the River) is exciting. Be aware parking is easier on St Margaret's side of the Bridge. Be aware of Mon-Fri high tide. Parked on the wrong place could be dangerous. Parking wardens thrive in Richmond, day or night. Be aware of the new no idle fines" if stationary anywhere. Otherwise enjoy the Countryside

The Riverside can be nice in February as well as summer. Walk up or down river for a bit more greenery or along to Terrace Gardens, up and along again for the whole of Richmond Park

Richmond Riverside Car Park
The closest car park for Richmond Riverside that opens to the public during weekends and bank holidays. The terrace only has a small number of spaces. When it is full, don't waste your time but head straight and then turn left to the covered car park. The parking is monitored by ANPR cameras so make sure you pay for your stay either at the pay machine or on your phone, if you have the parking app.

Lovely place to just sit and chill. Plenty of bars and restaurants around, otherwise amazing place to bring your own food and drink. It's best in the evening watching the sun go down but just a word of warning: it can become super packed on hot/warm days

Beware, you can only pay for an hour and a half parking and if you are over this you will get a ticket. There were several cars ticketed when we arrived back to our car. Spaces are very small and awkward to get in and out of.

Richmond Riverside Car Park
Every parking space has a company's logo over it, as if you can't park there and it's private. After a lot of deliberation, I decided to park anyway and assume it's fine. This also confused a lot of other motorists. I didn't receive a ticket.
