Organised some lessons with Tom for my wife, Gina who is quite new to golf.Tom's personality and teaching style made each trip a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience...and Gina couldn't wait to get back for the next installment when she saw herself improving so quickly.Personally, I've played golf at a good standard for 5 decades, and seen many professionals teaching this game over the years. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tom, whether you are a beginner, just taking up the game, or an elite player, polishing your technique.

Recommended to Tom through a friend.From the first lesson he adopts an open minded approach to your game, with an in detailed assessment of your current game and which areas you want to improve.Being a new golfer myself (playing 12 months), he is great at breaking down information without overloading too much. I have been having lessons with Tom now for just over a year and started pretty much as a total beginner.Even after the first lesson I saw a drastic change in the distance & accuracy that I was striking the ball.Tom is great to work with, has all the time in the world for you and is completely focused on helping you to develop. He’s very knowledgable and has plenty of patience too even though I was pretty bad at the start lol.I was always scoring over 100 gross before my time with Tom and now I aim to hit under 90 each round with much more confidence and enjoyment in my game.Would definitely recommend for anyone of any age.*The putting lesson was a game changer!

I started my lessons as a total novice over a year ago with the goal of being able to play golf recreational with my son, who also has lessons with him.Tom is very patient, interactive and is has always been a positive coach to adults and children alike, even during the difficulties of COVID lockdown. I signed on with Tom with the aim of breaking 100 and building a more consistent swing. After one lesson I can already appreciate a difference in my approach. Tom and I worked on improving my set-up, my body position and my dynamism through the golf swing. His explanations for each drill were easy to understand, and he used video footage from our session to make a personalised coaching video for me at the end of our session. This showed me where I started and how improved over the course of a lesson, and gave me things to work on before our next session. He's a friendly guy, but wasn't afraid to point out my mistakes and push me to do better. Would definitely recommend his services.

I have worked with Tom for the past few weeks to reduce my handicap further and continue to progress with my game through the winter where I have little time to play. Currently my game has came on leap and bounds, when we work together Tom has great communication skills to adapt and explain where I can improve. He also has a variety of methods and techniques to get the golf out of me, we had worked on lots of aspects on my game and we have seen improvements every time, I look forward to my lessons and seeing better scores.If you’re thinking of working with Tom you definitely should as you won’t regret it!

Tom is a fantastic coach and has a completely unique style. I felt like the approach was completely specific to my game and he doesn’t just try and teach a uniform PGA handbook swing.Tom takes the extra care and listens/watches closely to be able to suggest small, comfortable tweaks that he knows you will be able to go away and practice. He also does not overload with information and ensures that you have easy points to take away and practice so that you stay interested. He genuinely allows your game to get progressively better instead of suggesting complete swing changes.Tom will take into account your specific objectives and provide you with more ‘feel’ swing changes than overly technical feedback.He has genuinely given me a completely different outlook on how to approach golf training and I would recommend him to anyone.I’ve just bought my Dad some lessons with him so keen to finally see his handicap come down!

Tom has been coaching my daughter for a couple of years now, starting off in junior group sessions then moving to one to one instruction. Sessions are adapted to individual needs, interesting, not too over technical which is fantastic for young children and enjoyable which is key! My daughter has developed hugely in her time with Tom and continues to enjoy her sessions with him. I recommend any parents of young golfers wanting to start in the sport to give Tom a call.
