Oilfast Motherwell

We purchase Kerosene from the Nethan street, Motherwell depot and find the staff professional & helpful, along with being really nice and pleasant to converse with. Without going over the top - Pretty refreshing.

Someone called. I ordered oil at an agreed price. It was delivered and placed in my oil tank. What can one say of any possible use about this? Nothing at all. The picture has as much relevance as the review. None at all.

Visited for the first time today. Called ahead and was assured cash was acceptable and there would be no hassle.Arrived and spoke to a lady at the pumps. Go round the side and in the door with the flaps she said.So not in the front door marked reception then.......NO round the back.Crazy.Anyway, finally found the window round the back of the offices and was spoken to by a guy who didn't seem too sure of himself. He told me I had to open an account? First I heard says me. So waited for ages for him to sort himself out and finally was sent back to the front to get fuel at the pump. Had to wait again for someone to serve me. Then I was send round the back of the offices again to the window. And the guy who spoke to me and opened the account had disappeared! A lady tried to help but was too busy on the telephone to concentrate on helping me.Then she didn't know I had bought extra drums. (just as well I am honest)So went to pay and I was given a lecture about paying cash. (complete opposite from what I had been told on the phone)Then she asked me if I wanted a receipt. Of course I want a receipt I for the £66 I just gave you!You will need to wait was her answer.Eventually I got a printout that was nothing like a receipt and she wrote on it the amount. When I said this is no use she asked me for my e-mail address and promised to send it.In summary.Spent so long there to buy a small amount of fuel it was a joke.Staff not at all helpful.Paperwork is shocking.So back again today.Female in the office was so unfriendly and demanding I almost left.She needs to have a retraining course on how the customers pay her wages and she needs to be nice.

I have had deliveries from Oilfast several times and they are always friendly and professional. I ran out of oil recently by mistake and Shona could not have been more helpful. She was very kind and understanding and organised a delivery for me at the last minute. I’m very grateful.

As a new customer I can honestly say this company were brilliant, I spoke to Jamie who was extremely pleasant and polite. He went that extra mile to accommodate my requirements and fulfilled them to my satisfaction and also offered a very competitive price for my domestic heating oil.
